Jun Xuan once challenged Tai Xi, the Heavenly Dao.
If he won, he would be granted his wish to resurrect his only disciple:
The human crown prince, slaughtered by the merciless divine race.
Countless deities gathered to watch the duel.
Jun Xuan lost.
When the contest ended, a barrier suddenly rose within Tai Xi's Divine Palace.
The price of Jun Xuan's defeat was being trapped in the palace by the Heavenly Dao for three days and three nights, with no sunlight in sight.
On the bed, the Heavenly Dao held Jun Xuan, exhausted and unconscious. He nuzzled Jun Xuan's long hair and spoke in a low, husky voice. "You abandoned me back then, yet even after I died, you still thought of me. It makes me very happy."
From that day on, Jun Xuan was determined to kill the Heavenly Dao and wash away his humiliation, but he lost every battle.
Every time, Tai Xi dragged him back to bed and humiliated him.
Years later, after a new order of gods was established, Jun Xuan finally pierced Tai Xi's spiritual form with the Fallen God Spear.
Before this once all-powerful tyrant of the Heavenly Dao lost his soul, he said:
"Master, it's been so long."
