Synopsis
Updates every other day after launch, daily updates after signing.
You toy with time, and time toys with you.
And Batman thought that was why he got what was coming to him.
Everyone knows there's only one Gotham City in the world, and only one Batman. It's like how Stargazy pie has no stars, only garfish, and Alfred's cookbook has no cookies, only lethal quantities of vegetable juice.
But hey, who says they have to be in the same world?
Before the worlds merged, the only reality 23-year-old Batman faced was this: "There is only one superhero and vigilante in the whole world."
So can someone tell him where these four kids came from? He's only been a vigilante for three years. Where did he get adopted sons with over a decade of experience being his kids?!
The oldest looks almost his age! The youngest looks more like his little brother!
Somebody save Batman, and Bruce Wayne too. He seriously doesn't have time to make this many strapping sons! By Alfred, he'd trade all his Batman pocket money for a more normal world!
Wait, who's Terry, the one who says he's from the future?
Kryptonians? Demigods? And what is that league with the name of a baseball club?
Don't you think you're all completely out of place in my world?
Not to mention the cities and villains that appeared out of nowhere. Can this world really be saved?
Today, 23-year-old Batman is also experiencing a mild breakdown.
To everyone else, the world is a wildly growing tree. Their world and Batman's world are two branches that split off in different directions from the same limb.
Three years ago, to avert the destruction of the world, Batman risked his life and separated himself as a pillar of the world, buying the whole world three years to catch its breath.
The world split in two. One part continued his past, moving forward with its original memories, while the other cut off his past and began again.
Three years later, the heroes successfully resolved the world's crisis. They rushed to merge the timelines, only to get a Bruce Wayne who was far too young and no longer recognized them.
Facing their hopeful gazes, the 23-year-old sweetheart Wayne tilted his head. "Who are you?"
The adopted sons were stunned. The heroes were stunned too.
Wait, Batman never mentioned this before the world split!
Whatever. The little Birds are raring to go, and the League is rubbing its hands together. So what if he doesn't remember them? Bonds can be built again, and they believe love conquers all.
A few days later, after seeing everyone else in utter chaos, Batman landed in New York, frowned, and realized things weren't simple.
Wait, world fusion is one thing, but how did I transmigrate? And who's that tin can with a backstory just like mine?
Warning! Warning! The multiverse is about to be rocked by the Bat family!
A certain Batcat: Somebody save me...
Read-beforehand warnings:
1. Batman won't end up with anyone in this story. Everyone and Batman have a platonic relationship, but everyone in the story loves Batman, and he's doted on by all, so the tag is bromance. If that bothers you, read at your own risk. Later on, depending on the editor's advice, I might change it to no romance, and revise the blurb then.
2. Batman is just 23 and has only been active for three years, so he's very inexperienced. The people from the other side are all at least somewhat older than this world's Wayne. Strictly speaking, it's an older cast with a younger Batman. If that bothers you, read at your own risk.
3. Compared to other versions, this Batman is more lively. He smiles and jokes around. There are original elements, the worlds merge, and there may be out-of-character moments. Be aware of this, and read at your own risk.
4. The author will do their best to give every character their moment in the spotlight and won't vilify anyone. The story isn't grim and tragic; it's a lighthearted take on the canon. Come join us!
5. I'll start this after finishing A Guide to Surviving Natural Disasters or getting far enough with the other plotline. Feel free to follow along!
Theme: Love and justice can save everything.
