[Harry Potter Fanfiction] Aurel Lupin

{"Suppose Remus had a younger brother": The male lead is Remus's younger brother, Oler Lupin. A novella, told in reverse chronological order, partly as recollections, shifting between first and third person.

The pairing is most likely BL, but there is no incest, only familial affection. The tentative pairing is Barty Crouch Jr. It may also become BG.

The impoverished, wandering Remus Lupin receives an invitation from his alma mater, Hogwarts, to take over as the Defense Against Dark Magic teacher. Remus gladly accepts and reunites with Harry Potter, the son of an old friend. Meanwhile, news spreads that the murderer Sirius Black has escaped from prison, throwing the Wizarding World into a panic. Remus Lupin tells Harry Potter the story of his younger brother, Oler Lupin... a boy long forgotten by the world, with a pure heart and a brave, loyal spirit.

"My younger brother Oler was born on May 19, 1962. Having a werewolf for a son was a constant source of worry for my parents, and Oler, who was normal and healthy, was a great comfort to them. He was very handsome, with large, dark eyes and a lively, expressive face. He was tall, light on his feet, and quick in his movements. From childhood, he had abundant energy and a taste for adventure. Unlike quiet, fragile me, he was always brave, passionate, and bold."
