Synopsis
Heitiao Tielang is a civil servant, and so is his girlfriend, Wutiao Liuhua. They have been together for years and get along wonderfully, but he has never met her family.
One day, he spots his girlfriend from a distance on the street, acting intimately with a tall, white-haired man. The words "other man" flash through his mind, and he can't help comparing himself to the guy.
He compares their heights and loses.
He compares their looks and loses.
He compares their financial means, only to discover that one of the guy's shirts costs hundreds of thousands.
Heitiao Tielang loses on every count. But he's not the type to sit back and do nothing. He promptly happens to pass by, happens to say hello, and happens to meet the tall, white-haired man.
Wutiao Liuhua: He's my younger brother.
Tall, white-haired man: Hey, hi~
Heitiao: Oh, so he's your younger brother! Nice to meet you... (breathes a sigh of relief) (wipes nervous sweat from his forehead)
The next day, he sees his girlfriend acting intimately with a tall, dark blue-haired man on the street.
Heitiao: Younger brother number two.
The third day, he sees his girlfriend acting intimately with a not-so-tall, blond man on the street.
Heitiao: Number three.
The fourth day, he sees his girlfriend acting intimately with a short, black-haired man on the street.
Heitiao: Four.
On the fifth day... Heitiao Tielang starts to suspect that even the white-haired younger brother he met at the very beginning was just a lie. He goes to the white-haired younger brother at work to confirm it, and the other man says, "Of course I'm my sister's only younger brother."
Heitiao: ...
White-haired younger brother: Hey, what's with that look?
Kind-hearted Heitiao decides not to tell the white-haired younger brother just yet that his sister has dozens of other dear little brothers out there, so as not to upset this sister-obsessed guy. The white-haired younger brother, meanwhile, innocently asks why he would say that. Has his sister's other family been exposed?
Heitiao: I know she has someone else out there

Heitiao loves his girlfriend. Whenever they argue, no matter who is at fault, he's always the first to apologize. That is, until she confesses that she has another family on the side. The two have a huge fight, nearly tearing the house apart.
What man could accept his girlfriend having another family on the side? Heitiao is furious.
But she doesn't argue with him. She quietly makes him some noodles, as if offering a sign of reconciliation.
Heitiao's heart softens. He picks up his chopsticks and hesitates for a long while, but still takes the initiative to apologize. "I'm sorry. I shouldn't have yelled at you. Did I scare you?"
"...Don't eat that yet." His girlfriend stops him from putting the noodles in his mouth, takes the bowl away, and pours it down the drain.
Heitiao asks, "Can't I eat this bowl?"
She says, "I poisoned it."
