[Main Blurb] (Third-person narration)
As you can see, I'm a dating System, and my target is the organization's famous top killer, Gin.
But right now, I'm facing two problems I can't solve.
First, a bug that can't be fixed keeps the progress stuck at 99.9%.
Second, my Host is just a delicate forensic pathologist.
I watch my Host deftly tie up their long silver hair, get dressed, open the morgue, and start dissecting a corpse. I fall silent.
Well... maybe they aren't quite so delicate, but how is a forensic pathologist supposed to win over a top killer?!
Then I discover that the Host I'm bound to seems to have been replaced.
Who is this black-haired, red-eyed guy who looks like a vampire and keeps grinning?
Where is my silver-haired Host?
Why hasn't anyone else noticed, and why are they still calling him Forensic Pathologist Kurosawa?
Not long afterward, my original Host returns. Having stayed up all night watching thousands of episodes of the high-plane anime Case Closed, I ask a profound question:
Host, are you Gin?
My cold-blooded Host smiles slowly.
No, I'm just a delicate forensic pathologist.
Do you think I believe that? I clearly saw you summon the Shinigami Elementary Schooler with a single blow last night!
After several months of this bug-ridden System life in the Conan universe, my forensic pathologist Host finally enters the main storyline!
I see a familiar-looking vampire step out of the Porsche that should belong to my Host. Vodka, Gin's devoted underling, respectfully calls out to him:
Big Brother Gin.
Huh? If he's Gin, then who is my Host?
Did I take a wrong turn while traveling between worlds?
At that moment, I hear my Host give a cold snort. He grits out a name:
Akira.
Gin's Blurb:
For over a decade, Gin has wanted to kill one particular person, but their souls are linked, so he can't lay a finger on them.
One day, that person dies, and a part of Gin's soul is ripped away with them. The pain never leaves him.
So when he sees that person again, risen from the dead, Gin decides to kill them with his own hands and reclaim the piece of his soul he lost.
Xiao Ming's Blurb:
Good news: AKA Xiao Ming transmigrated after dying, into the famous Detective Conan, the show he loved most in his past life!
Bad news: He's not only on the Black Organization's side, but also an unlucky failed experimental subject!
After dying and coming back to life again and again, his late-arriving golden finger System finally shows up, and Xiao Ming can at last escape his lunatic childhood friend and fly solo!
But why did the System disappear again, and why is his childhood friend still haunting him?!
A few notes:
1. Third-person narration. No System early on. A coming-of-age story about two kids, with Xiao Ming as a gleeful troublemaker.
2. The two protagonists share only one goal with the good guys: bringing down the organization. After the main story ends, they use the organization's relatively clean assets to establish a legitimate association (one Public Security officer grits his teeth).
3. Since Big Brother isn't exactly pure anymore, the liquor company will have many more true believers and connections across all walks of life, making it a massive force.
4. OOC warning. No deliberate rescue missions, but a lot of characters will probably get kicked out of their coffins.
