Why Wasn't I Told About the Coronation!

-

The feudal states have been at war for three hundred years. The imperial court is unstable, and Emperor Xia is emperor in name only.

Pei Zhi of Chuzhou possessed extraordinary talent and ambition. In little more than a decade, he quelled the rebellions in multiple states, declared himself King of Chu, and supported Emperor Xia to preserve imperial rule. Sadly, he died young before he could complete his great undertaking.

Pei Yuanxi is Pei Zhi's son. Bearing his father's hopes, he succeeds him as King of Chu, ready to make his mark, end the feudal states' century-long civil war, and become a peerless king whose name will go down in history!

But when he wakes up one morning, he discovers that his generals have used his name to kill Emperor Xia, install a new emperor, and crown him Emperor of Chu.

Pei Yuanxi: ???

Pei Yuanxi: Y-you... you all... y-y-you...

Mei Shu: Oh, quit pretending...

Pei Yuanxi: ...Why didn't anyone tell me I was being crowned?!

Theme: If Dad hits me, I'll declare myself emperor.
