After Moving in With the CEO

A sharp-tongued, seemingly aloof top who is soft at heart × a sunny, lively, warmhearted bottom.

The Li family arranged for Li Yinchi to care for He Xuchuan, who had been forced to recuperate at home after an accident.

As an adopted son of the Li family, Li Yinchi readily agreed.

Reality promptly dealt him a cruel blow: on his very first day on the job, He Xuchuan "rejected" him.

Determined to stay, Li Yinchi put his silver tongue to work and managed to persuade He Xuchuan.

But the young CEO was no easy person to get along with. For instance, after Li Yinchi spent ages tidying up the balcony, He Xuchuan immediately dismissed his efforts as worthless: "It looks awful."

And yet, while Li Yinchi was away on vacation, the plants still bloomed beautifully.

Or take their daily meals. After clearing his plate, the cold-faced CEO would always comment, "It's passable. Keep working at it."

Li Yinchi couldn't help thinking that He Xuchuan never said what he really meant.

After enduring He Xuchuan's devilish torment, Li Yinchi finally considered leaving. "I'll stay until his final follow-up appointment, then resign."

But when he actually handed in his resignation, He Xuchuan refused to accept it.

"Did someone outside offer you too much, or have I been paying you too little?"

Li Yinchi boldly answered, "Obviously, the latter."

"Fine. I'll give you a raise."

Li Yinchi's face lit up with joy, but He Xuchuan gave him far too much. He even gave him himself.
