Ji Shitian was the fake young master the Ji family had found to take someone's place. His role was to play Qi Hangyi's fiancé.
For years, he had followed the Ji family's instructions. Even though Qi Hangyi disliked him, he had to grit his teeth and keep clinging to him.
At last, the Ji family found their real young master, and Ji Shitian could finally step down.
Ji Shitian took the money and left without hesitation, carrying out the whole process without the slightest delay.
He thought Qi Hangyi would be delighted. After all, who would like a clingy pest?
But could someone explain why he kept running into Qi Hangyi at school every few days, and even ended up as his dorm roommate across the hall?
It was as if their roles had been reversed. This time, Qi Hangyi was the one chasing after him.
Ji Shitian said it was too hot, and the dorm got a new air conditioner right away.
Ji Shitian said the school cafeteria food was awful, and the contractor was replaced immediately.
Ji Shitian thought the school pool was too small, and it was expanded at once.
Ji Shitian was suddenly terrified. To avoid any more awkward situations, he came up with a plan: one day, after accidentally "falling out of bed," he pretended to have amnesia.
He remembered everyone, except for Qi Hangyi.
His selective memory loss was so obvious that anyone could tell he was faking, but Qi Hangyi could do nothing about it.
"You really don't remember me?"
Ji Shitian put on a convincing act. "That's right."
"Fine. Then I'll slowly help you recover your lost memories," Qi Hangyi said with certainty, as though he already had a plan.
Ji Shitian couldn't help shrinking his fair neck back. He had no idea whether his plan was a good idea or not.

Qi Hangyi knew that the Ji family's only son had gone missing, and that they had found an impostor.
At first, he had looked down on him. But when he finally saw the person surrounded by the crowd, he couldn't take his eyes off him.
At that moment, Qi Hangyi wanted to give Ji Shitian everything he had. But wary of the Ji family behind him, he could only pretend to keep his distance.
He said all the things he didn't mean to say:
"I hope you'll stop clinging to me."
"I don't like any of the things you give me."
"Stop hanging around in front of me."
When the real young master finally returned, Qi Hangyi couldn't wait to confess his feelings. But Ji Shitian left without looking back.
He swore he would make Ji Shitian willingly return to his side, and never let him out of his sight again.
