The Great Adventure of Player B, also known as The World May Be More Complicated Than You Think
[The Blurb] [Game Opening Version]
This is the beginning of a player's adventure, a comedy full of nonsense.
First, you need to know how it all started. Player B just wanted to have fun with a new full-immersion game, because it featured something he'd recently gotten into: COC, also known as Call of Cthulhu tabletop role-playing.
After taking turns running games with his friends and playing through several rounds in earnest, he decided to go online in the full-immersion world and experience it for real. That way, he could avoid his friends taking cheap shots at him. Under the game system, everyone would be on equal footing.
Player B rolled the dice again and listened to them clatter. He took one step forward, then another, slowly savoring the fun he wanted from the game: talking to Gotham, dancing with the Joker, going against the world, and doing everything a player should do.
In the end, he chose to play Bruce Wayne, accept his responsibilities and ideals, and become the new master of his own Gotham.

[Player B, welcome. We hope you enjoy the game.]
[Welcome, dear hero or criminal. This time, you'll take part in a relatively uninteresting adventure. You can treat it as a rare opportunity for teamwork and find out whether the people around you are what you thought they were. Identify your teammates and your enemies.]
"Hi, I'm B. Would you like to play a game with me that might get us killed?"
"I would." "I would." "I would." "I would." "I would." "I would." "I would." "I would."
"HA! Don't even think about leaving me behind, Batsy!" "I'd always be willing, B." "Where are we going first?" "Give me a kiss in return, B."

PS:
Feel free to ask for updates. If you want to read discarded drafts, that's fine too. Want to ask for updates up close? Check the author's profile.
This story has been heavily revised. Updates are irregular and entirely up to chance.
As usual, I'll add an extra chapter for every hundred nutrient solutions or every hundred favorites.
Theme: Even in a dark universe, Batman is still Batman.
Then you should update...
