I'm not sure whether I'll actually start writing this. It's just the rambling of an overworked wage slave who couldn't find a story to their liking, so they got mad and decided to start one themselves.
The main text uses first person quite often (I want to try writing from a different perspective), mixing first and third person.
Best friends are brothers, after all. But what if brothers aren't best friends...? (begins chanting)
Shikanoin isn't dumb or naive, but he's very sweet. He's been great with kids since he was little, until one day Yae Publishing House opened the door to a whole new world for him.
Shikanoin Miku. Shikanoin Mirai. That's my name. As the older brother of Shikanoin Heizou of Inazuma, I don't have my little brother's impressive combat skills or sharp mind.
As a light novel author at Yae Publishing House, I love writing popular fiction that seems sunny and cheerful on the surface, but is filled with bittersweet angst underneath. That is, until the day the Almighty Shogun summoned me to Tenshukaku
"Shikanoin, I've read your latest novel." Half of the Shogun's face was hidden in shadow, with gloomy bangs hanging over it. "You've written far too many tearjerkers. I'm very displeased."
That's what my Shogun said, while holding a Electro Vision in her hand.
"I've kept your Vision with me all this time. I was waiting until you learned to write sweet stories before giving it back to you." The Shogun's face twisted like a demon's. It was so terrifying that even Guuji Yae would have cried out that she looked like the reincarnation of the King of Onikabuto.
"I waited and waited, until you'd written more than a dozen novels, "
I reached out dejectedly. "My Lady, please hear me out! I mean, let me explain! I'll write sweet stories, I can do it!"
Just toss in a little sweetness! Don't let Yae Publishing House lay me off!!!
And just like that, I was downsized into another world, with my Electro Vision: )
When will I gather enough faith to recharge my Vision? Who needs eight hundred billion points of energy to charge a Vision?!
Still, the other world is great. Fried chicken and burgers are delicious (nom nom), and phones are fun too (nom nom). I don't even want to go back (nom nom).
