Lou Mian is an ordinary high school homeroom teacher and Chinese teacher.
After an unexpected car accident, Lou Mian develops narcolepsy. In the eyes of his colleagues, he often "faints" without warning.
Each time he "faints," his soul attaches itself to another version of himself in a parallel universe, where he gets involved with several "lunatics."
