Please add my new story to your collections: Can a Sickly Heiress Go on Adventures Too? Western fantasy academy adventure. The blurb is below. If you're interested, please give it a collection!
People-pleasing, soft-dough office worker B x protective, aloof CEO A
A warm and sweet slice-of-life story. The characters spend a brief time apart only to find their true selves. This couple will find lasting happiness.
For years, Jian Nuanyang was bullied and ignored, living in constant fear and uncertainty.
Just before she reached her breaking point, she was forced to adopt a comfort pet.
When she returned to the company, the newly appointed CEO fired the boss she hated most and promoted her to be her executive secretary.
Her comfort pet was sweet and well-behaved, and the new CEO, Xu Qian, always stood up for the people around her.
Jian Nuanyang had never been so happy.
But deep down, she was uneasy, because she was still the same timid, useless person she had always been.
The beautiful woman always noticed Jian Nuanyang's anxiety and gently soothed her.
Jian Nuanyang repeatedly confirmed that the care she received was genuine, at least to some extent.
Jian Nuanyang liked Xu Qian as naturally as a fish likes water.
She only planned to hide those feelings in her heart. As long as she could stay by Xu Qian's side, that was enough.
Until she heard Xu Qian tell her new fiancee, "She looks after my spirit form, so I have to treat her well."
"She and I were never cut from the same cloth."
Jian Nuanyang went home and stared at the adorable red fox for a long time, then quietly wiped away her tears.
The next day, she returned the fox to its owner.
"CEO Xu, I'm here to return your spirit form," Jian Nuanyang said, keeping her voice from trembling. "And here's my resignation letter."
If the love she received was an illusion, she would rather have none at all.
Jian Nuanyang turned and walked away, unaware of the burning, anguished gaze behind her.
.
Weak, mediocre, and going nowhere.
Those were labels Jian Nuanyang could never shake.
Xu Qian, on the other hand, excelled in her family background, looks, and abilities. She never thought she'd have anything to do with someone like Jian Nuanyang.
But the spirit form she had painstakingly raised chose Jian Nuanyang!
To save face, Xu Qian stood up for Jian Nuanyang again and again, until it became a habit.
At first, Xu Qian despised Jian Nuanyang's weakness and mediocrity, and only wanted to take back her spirit form.
Later, she became enamored with Jian Nuanyang's calm and gentle nature, and wished she could stay by her side for the rest of her life.
Note: One-on-one romance, both leads' first time.
An Alpha/Beta romance, with my own take on ABO. Original worldbuilding, no accessories.
The characters are imperfect, each with their own flaws.
Upcoming story blurb: Taciturn, stone-faced cutie x delicate girl with a saintly heart. Content warnings below.
[Years later, when asked where she found the courage to save the world with her frail body, Liora only gazed sadly up at the sky.
She said, "At first, I only wanted to go to school."]
Liora, who once had to take a leave of absence due to illness, possesses beauty blessed by the gods and an incredibly frail body.
She wants to attend Mesa Academy, the greatest school on the continent.
Mesa Academy is all about martial prowess.
Liora's physical fitness doesn't even meet the school's admission requirements.
After much thought, Liora sent an application titled My Father, the Billionaire, to the principal's office.
The following spring, Liora received a reply from the principal, just as she had hoped.
It read:
Donation accepted. Temporary enrollment approved. Permanent admission will depend on your performance in the academy tournament.
Your team assignments are enclosed.
After enrolling, Liora met the teammates assigned to her.
Her vision went black.
Her teammates were a dragon twice her size, an ominous curse mage with black tattoos all over her face, an astrologer hidden beneath a black robe and shrouded in gray mist, and an ice witch whose expression alone could freeze someone to death.
Her teammates were powerful and bad-tempered.
From then on, Liora's days were spent soothing one person, then another. "Hey, you two! If you're going to fight, take it outside the dorm!"
Help! As delicate as she is, does she really have to go adventuring with these four?
A little scene: On the first night of their group lodging, Liora dreamed that all her teammates were getting along beautifully.
When she woke, sharp icicles thrown by the witch were lodged in the dragon's scales, the curse mage was casting a spell on Liora, and the astrologer was sitting far away, turning a compass to calculate when the whole team would die.
Liora: So dreams really do come true in reverse...
Theme: Even under the weight of life's hardships, don't forget to find a little joy for yourself.
In the final analysis, no one taught the two sisters how to love each other, so they love and hate each other so stubbornly.
I finished it in one go. It's really good to watch and it really hit my mark.
Because I don't feel safe enough, I can only solve the problem in this way (personal opinion)
Can the extra episode give Jian Rou a good ending? 😭 😭
So will Jian Yuerou be happy? [Holds her chin] It feels like all three sisters are miserable. . . I hope everyone will be happy 🤔
I avoid it because I care about it, but avoidance can't solve the problem. Xiaoyang is also growing hard armor when he is enriching his flesh and blood.
Sweet and sour sisters 😭
Ah, I finished reading 😭. I never expected that what touched me the most in the book was not the mutual redemption of love between the two heroines, but the love-hate relationship between the two sisters (yes, not counting the third child). The death of my sister was an ending I did not expect. I can also understand the awkward mentality of the heroine at the wedding (this may be the resonance of sister control). This resonance and feeling made it difficult for me to let go of the ending of the relationship between the sisters. Damn it, in another world line, sisters have to leave this quagmire and live happily! 😭
The premise of love is to be seen 🥺 🥺 💪,
Jian Yuerou 😭 😭 😭, is it Xiaoyang's curse? I had a good relationship with her, and immediately felt that everything was going to get better and better, and then disappeared, like a bubble in a dream 😭 😭 😭
