Jiang Yan x male young master
Important: The original plot has been substantially reworked. When I first worked out the main plot of this novel, I hadn't fully understood the game's story, so the main plot here may differ enormously from the original. It really is a huge difference. Much of the story came from imagining what might happen based on the game. Some characters are from the game, while others are original. History has been changed to a fictional setting. Please forgive me. History has already been settled and can't be changed, but it's just so tragic.
The early chapters will focus on the two of them spending their everyday lives together.
The young master in this novel has no definite name.
Pay attention: At first, the two share only familial affection. Familial affection, and nothing but familial affection. A master-disciple bond also works.
Warning: Characters may be out of character.
The top's role is very clearly marked. Please read with caution if that's not to your taste.
At nineteen, Jiang Yan escaped through a running battle, carrying a baby in his arms. Even with his superb swordsmanship, days of pursuit had left him covered in wounds, both large and small. Rain fell without end, and wounds he hadn't yet had time to treat had begun to turn white and even fester. Even the simple act of raising his hand set off pain throughout his body, shooting straight to his brain and making his hand tremble uncontrollably.
Compared with his own injuries, what concerned him more was the cut on the child's cheek, left by a flying stone.
He carefully tried to touch the wound with his rough fingertips, but after a long moment, he stopped, worried he might wake the child.
Bamboo leaves soaked in the puddles left on the ground after the rain. After days of gloomy weather, the sun appeared, mild and round.
Soon, he would have a new home.

Spin-off in my collection: On How to Raise a Young Hero of the Jianghu
Zhao Guangyi x male young hero (the order matters)
This is a spin-off featuring characters from the game Where Winds Meet.
The original game's plot has been reworked. Our young master still has Bu Xian Xian, and there's no complicated backstory. Otherwise, it'd be pure tragedy. Though tragedy is fun to read, my little heart can't take it.
History has been changed to a fictional setting.
A comedy, with a tiny bit of angst in the middle. A little angst is good for the soul, a little angst is good for the soul.
At the Yingqun Banquet in Fan Tower, the young master glared through gritted teeth at this Zhao-whatever-Yi, who looked like a fox crossed with a purple eggplant. The Seven-Day Soul-Severing Powder in his mouth dissolved, making him frown at its bitterness.
Only after they saw him swallow the medicine did the guards let go of him.
Who could have expected that he would suddenly circulate his energy and dart like a ghost straight in front of their lord? Before the eyes of the entire crowd, the hero, who was a head shorter than the lord, raised a hand to grip the lord's neck and lifted his own head-
"Clang!"
The copper coin Dongque Gongzi had been twirling rolled to the ground. The shock in his eyes was almost perfectly mirrored by Brother Zhao, who wore a face covering. Everyone present was stunned, their jaws nearly hitting the floor.
Holy crap, is he really that bold?
The young hero let go of the purple eggplant, licked the blood from the corner of his mouth, and sneered. "How's the Seven-Day Soul-Severing Powder taste, officer?"
Then, before anyone could react, the young hero took off like a shot, fleeing for his life.
And then, the next day, the rumors around Kaifeng were: "Shocking! A country bumpkin publicly kissed the prefect of Kaifeng! Was it the decline of morality, or the collapse of human decency? Read on to find out!"
