Chen Chisu is an utterly ordinary high school boy. Every day, he sits through class after class until he's sick of it. But no one knows that he was once humanity's greatest hero, the one who saved the world. Ten years ago, the supernatural horrors returned, and everyone on Blue Star was plunged into misery. Just as people were losing hope, Chen Chisu appeared out of nowhere and slaughtered every horror in the world.
He made a pact with the ultimate horror, and the horrors stopped returning. People's lives gradually went back to normal.
But a little accident happened: everyone's memories reverted to before the horrors returned, and no one remembered anything he'd done for Blue Star.
The ultimate horror thought Chen Chisu would be in pain, would despair.
But Chen Chisu was overjoyed: Doesn't this mean I can finally live the lazy life I've always dreamed of? So he happily mooched off others, waited to die, and spent his days like a lazy fish.
Then another little accident happened: the people who had completely forgotten him began remembering him again?!
Not only that, his old rivals, subordinates, enemies... all came looking for him.
Those who worshipped him knelt at his feet in reverence, willing to offer up their lives for him;
those who hated him attacked and framed him with venomous malice, wanting him to die a horrible death;
even the horrors he'd once defeated came charging in, shouting things like, "Revenge!" "Die!" and "For all horrors everywhere!"
...Then Chen Chisu mercilessly beat them to a pulp.
He thought he was already unlucky enough, but he never expected things could get even worse.
The black-hearted, thrill-seeking man who had sworn ten years ago that they would fight to the death latched onto him, smiled, and said he would offer himself to him.
Chen Chisu: ...
Reading guide:
1. Black-hearted thrill-seeking gong x fake slacker, real big shot shou
2. Both gong and shou are pure in body and mind. Happy ending. Some side characters have one-sided crushes on the shou, but the shou only returns the gong's feelings.
3. It's a logic-free power fantasy, so don't take the story too seriously.
4. Two big-shot kings who love and fight each other. Romance and plot get equal focus.
5. More to come if I think of anything.
Theme: A power fantasy that throws logic out the window
