[A Timid, Spineless, Honest Heroine x A Two-Faced, Honey-Tongued, Black-Hearted Hero]
Every story has a minor character who's cowardly, timid, and meek.
Jiang Rong was bound to a System and transmigrated into a minor character in a small world. Her job was to move the plot along and help the protagonists achieve a perfect happy ending.
But she didn't know that she'd been sent into an explicit novel.
She dutifully followed the plot and worked hard.
She had no idea that her arrival had awakened the indescribable beings who had been dormant in the small world. One after another, they opened their eyes and fixed their obsessive gaze on her.
After the mission had been underway for a while, the System finally lost its patience. [Jiang Rong, that's enough.]
Stop turning the male lead, the supporting male characters, and the villains into evil gods, then making them your husbands!
[The main story is told in third person.]
World One: The Disliked Real Heiress x The Darlings of Heaven (Ancient Setting)
Jiang Rong was the real heiress who had just been found, an invisible nobody disliked by everyone. In this grand and powerful family, she was completely insignificant.
With her elegant and refined eldest cousin and her arrogant and reckless third cousin making waves at court, she had no worries about survival. All she had to do every day was take it easy, obey her elders, marry another cannon-fodder character, and die in childbirth, leaving behind a daughter who would later become caught in a passionate, bitter romance with her older cousins. That was all it took to complete her "minor character" mission.
After transmigrating into the story, Jiang Rong became a couch potato.
She thought that her powerful, high-born, cold and aloof cousins had never noticed her. After all, they bore the hopes of the entire family, and even her biological parents had to fawn over them.
Then one day, the cannon-fodder groom she was fated to marry suddenly died before his time.
And the ones who lifted her red wedding veil in his place were her cousins.
The System went offline, leaving Jiang Rong at a loss.
World Two: The Arrogant, Vain Hero x Her Evil, Cunning Companions/The Demon King (Fantasy)
Jiang Rong was a hero of little talent in an adventure world. The moment she set out on her journey, she swore she would defeat the Demon King and rescue the princess. But in her "minor character mission," she was destined to become fertilizer for a magic flower, adding a splash of color to the Demon King's marriage proposal.
Unfortunately, she almost got eaten by a dragon as soon as she entered the Demon King's cave.
Fortunately, a small band of knights rescued her, and she became friends with them.
Grateful and full of admiration for the strong, handsome, brawny knights, Jiang Rong blushed as she bragged and made up stories about her "achievements," hoping to win their friendship.
The knights obligingly praised her. At the moment she lowered her head, feeling guilty, Jiang Rong failed to notice them exchanging a teasing, mocking grin.
When she saw them crossing their legs, one of them told Jiang Rong, [It's too cold in this cave. If you could sit closer, Miss Jiang, we could all huddle together and get a little warmer.]
She believed him and blushingly inched closer, missing the covetous looks in their eyes.
Later, Jiang Rong got her wish and killed the Demon Kings, and she also ended up with a husband.
In the lulls of her peaceful life, she sometimes thought back to that adventure:
The demon dragons, magic flowers, vines in the forest, and enormous ancient stone statues... They all reminded her of her husband.
Was her husband really human?
To be written:
The innocent, spoiled little junior sister adored by everyone x her entire sect tainted by evil spirits
The arrogant saintess who breaks off her engagement x the overpowered protagonist's soul fragments, who share each other's senses
