It's All Yang Jian's Fault for Being So Beautiful

Before You Start:

*Rekindled romance + amnesia + shared feelings between the original body and its clone

*Slow burn at first; you can start from the reunion in Chapter 4

*Original female lead, with plenty of original worldbuilding

When Lei Shuyun opens her eyes, she is in the heavenly prison.

At last, she gets a chance to atone for her crimes by helping bring Yang Jian, the former God of Justice, back to Heaven to resume his old post.

As soon as she arrives at Guanjiangkou, she meets a handsome gentleman and falls for him at first sight.

He is as stately as a fresh breeze beneath the pines, as bright as the moon held close to one's heart.

He is peerlessly handsome, without equal in all the world.

Asking a colleague to return to work in Heaven can wait. The most important thing right now is to find a way to share a bed with this gentleman.

Lei Shuyun thinks seriously.

After that, she naturally falls in love with this peerlessly handsome man.

His heart and eyes are filled with her. He is both the one who understands her and the one who drives her wild with desire.

Until she discovers that the peerless gentleman from Guanjiangkou is actually one of Yang Jian's clones.

Until her memories return, and she remembers that she had been hopelessly in love with Yang Jian for years without success, left only with the knowledge that he hung in the sky like the moon, shining on everyone but her.

Until she realizes that Yang Jian had felt every moment of intimacy and tenderness she shared with his clone.

Twice she gave her heart, and twice it became a joke.

Lei Shuyun's heart turns cold as a deep pool. She will no longer be a lovesick fool toyed with by a god.

Only after Yang Jian reclaims his clone does he understand his own heart.

But when he finally returns her feelings, all he receives is a distant smile.

Lei Shuyun looks at him as though he were an unfamiliar celestial colleague, yet her tone is gentle and sincere.

"Everything that happened before was due to my foolishness, to my absurd attempt to climb a tree to catch a fish. My lord, please be merciful and do not tease me like this again."

Yang Jian lowers the hand he had just reached out, letting it hang at his side, hidden in his sleeve. Without realizing it, he clenches it into a fist.

His throat tastes bitter. "I... never teased you."

Lei Shuyun smiles and shakes her head, her eyes calm.

This time, she no longer cares.
