Someone wanted to cultivate immortality, so she found a little mountain and went into seclusion.
Hardworking and clever, she built herself a small cabin on the mountain. Above its door, she hung a plaque bearing four big characters: Mountain Cabin.
She stayed there, and stayed, for a thousand years, until at last she ascended to immortality.
This book tells the story of those thousand years before her ascension.
Come on in, travelers passing by, take a look!
Theme: There's something lovely about wandering gently through the world and living at your own pace.
