Although Luo Wan is a modern woman, she is skilled in every weapon, from swords and spears to halberds and daggers, and is equally adept at riding and archery.
She has always been a loner, until one day she happens to save Shangguan Beipu.
That's when she realizes this guy has an absolutely shameless streak.

Luo Wan transmigrates through time with an important mission to fulfill. Just as she finally manages to find her footing in that era, this guy follows her there too. (Who can relate? She runs into someone she simply can't shake off.) And he greets her with a radiant smile. (Heh, he just wants to date on the company dime.)
Shangguan Beipu thinks: Since A-Luo is caught up in this situation and doesn't want to leave, I'll join forces with her and follow the wise ruler she chose herself, experiencing together the world-changing events that have long since faded into history.
P.S. A love story between a hopeless romantic and an ice queen. A sweet, heartwarming story with a little angst, but not relationship angst. (Both leads have PhDs.)
