When Kageyama Tobio asks you to toss him a ball:

[1] Refuse and yell, "Kgym, boke!!"

[2] Ignore him and make a face that says, "What are you talking about? I didn't hear a thing."

[3] Agree, hold out both hands, and gently tell him, "You can practice for as long as you like."

Without hesitation, you choose [3].

Your name is Kanda Nao. You're an ordinary corporate drone in the 21st century. When you saw little Kageyama working hard alone on the volleyball court in episode 389 of Haikyuu!!, you burst into tears.

Your maternal instincts went into overdrive. You thought that if you ever got the chance, you'd help little Kageyama escape the burden of being the King of the Court early and make sure his whole life was warm and happy.

You swore to become Kageyama Tobio's one and only big sister.

And then you got your chance. Your new identity is the daughter of Karasuno's head teacher.

"Kageyama, want to eat lunch together?"

"Kageyama, don't push yourself too hard."

"Tobio, I'll keep cheering you on from the sidelines until I lose my voice!"

The black-haired boy started looking at you differently. Whenever you joked around with someone else, he'd spike the ball with a murderous look and interrupt you.

Later, the clueless Kageyama blushed and confessed to you.

"Kanda-senpai, please go out with me!"

You were completely taken aback.

Weren't we supposed to be in love with volleyball?!

How everyone reacted when they found out you were dating the volleyball idiot:

The Little Giant (freaking out): "!! Really?! Ah, damn it, I lost to Kageyama at dating! Kanda-senpai, don't say yes to him yet!"

Tsukishima (adjusting his glasses): "Isn't it obvious? You're going public slower than I expected, but are you sure you want to say yes? His Majesty is as slow as a monkey when it comes to romance."

Oikawa (smug): "I can't believe my cute junior waited until his third year of high school to have his first relationship. He's totally no match for me."

Bokuto (confused): "Dating? Are you playing at being a couple in a school roleplay? I want to join too!"

Ushijima (bluntly asking): "So what do you do after you start dating?"

Kenma (still gaming): "Romance? What a hassle. Kanda-senpai, let's keep clearing this game together."

Your face flushed with embarrassment: "...Can't you all just wish us well?"
