Downstairs, a beauty in a purple spaghetti-strap dress stood beside the car, holding a little girl's hand and waiting for someone.
At the mention of the car, Hagiwara Kenji stood up curiously to look out the window. One glance, and his eyes widened. His joy was impossible to hide.
"Something came up. I'm off work!" He grabbed his jacket and ran downstairs, not daring to waste a second.
"I never heard Hagiwara got married. Hey, Matsuda, do you know?"
Matsuda Jinpei answered lazily, "He's not married, but he's got a wife and kid."
"What?!"
Hagiwara Kenji fell in love with a free spirit. She was passionate, carefree, and unrestrained. Nothing could make her stay, not even the bonds of love.
