It's almost finished! If you're enjoying it, please tap the little star~
It's expected to wrap up this week, and there'll be extras too! That depends on my schedule, though!
Overworked bottom x gloomy top
Hui Tai Lang x Xi Yang Yang
1.
As a diligent office worker, Hui Tai Lang has a stable job at the bottom of the corporate ladder and a steady life.
Everything changed the year the old lady next door died. He saw a frail, undersized boy sitting in the mourning hall, surrounded by relatives who were fighting over who could avoid taking custody of him.
The old lady next door had been kindhearted and treated him fairly well. Unable to bear the sight, Hui Tai Lang charged forward, clenching his fist. "He's just a kid! I'll raise him!"
Nobody wanted to take on this hot potato. Hui Tai Lang spoke righteously, lambasted the fake relatives, grabbed the little boy, and walked away. "Don't worry. I'll raise you from now on. You'll live with me."
2.
Grandma used to call me an ungrateful brat, born to a mother who didn't raise me, and said I could only live with an old woman like her. But it was okay. At least Grandma was the only one willing to feed me after Mom died. That was already more than enough. I couldn't ask for too much.
But everything changed so fast. Grandma died, and I was an orphan without food again. Still, it wasn't so bad. The orphanage couldn't treat me too poorly. I just really missed Grandma's little meatballs.
"If none of you will raise him, I will! You bunch of broke relatives!"
Before I had time to think, someone took my hand. A thin figure stood in front of me, wearing a fierce expression. "I'll raise Xi Yang Yang! He'll live with me from now on!"
I... might have a home again.
