[Synopsis]
"I've always been waiting for that breeze from Mechelen."
A serial killer has set his sights on me.
Since arriving in this city, I've moved countless times. I've never stayed in one place for less than two months, but not long after each move, a bloody cross would appear outside my door.
The first time, I thought it was a prank by some kid. After all, the apartment I rented was cheap, and the caretaker was always asleep. Who knew if he'd let some weird kids in? I took out a handkerchief and quietly wiped the cross away.
The second time, I started to get scared. I looked at my neighbors on either side, but there were no terrifying crosses on their doors. I hadn't offended anyone, and my coworkers all said I was easy to get along with. Why would someone do this to my room?
The third time, my fear reached its peak. My hands trembled as I wiped the cold sweat from my forehead with my handkerchief.
I was in the open, and he was in the shadows. Five brutal serial murders had taken place in this city. All the victims were men, and not long ago, my ex-boyfriend, who had been harassing me, had been silenced forever. I didn't know how long this fear would last.
Then I discovered that a strange neighbor had moved in next door.
