Coming soon: My next books, "The Weird God Should Wear a Little Skirt" and "My Wife Keeps Wanting to Slice Me Up for Research"!
Here is this book's blurb:
Post-apocalyptic transmigrator, sharp-tongued but soft-hearted, older fatherly adoptive-parent seme x absurdly powerful fighter who pretends to be delicate, younger lovesick adoptive son uke
Bai Cang x Yun Zhi, pseudo father and son
Bai Cang ruled the post-apocalyptic world for decades. In the end, to preserve humanity's chance of survival, he dragged a horde of zombies into a suicide blast and took them all out with him.
He thought he was a goner, but when he opened his eyes, he found himself in a primeval wasteland.
Whether it was man-eating giant lizards over two meters tall, swarms of flesh-eating bees, or venomous blood snakes, none of them seemed as scary as zombies to Bai Cang.
If the worst came to the worst, he could just die, and at least he wouldn't have to worry about infecting anyone else.
With no will to survive, Bai Cang planned to just take things one day at a time. But after only a few days, he found a weak little falcon with both wings broken.
Seeing the little falcon treat him like its last lifeline, curling up in his palm and refusing to leave, Bai Cang decided to keep living, for now, until the little one could return to the skies and survive on its own.
As for how he ended up becoming the strongest human in the wasteland, Bai Cang said he was innocent and exasperated. It was all because his kid kept picking fights with everyone and giving them his name!
The little falcon curled up into a fluffy ball in his adoptive father's hands: I don't know anything!
Yun Zhi had a human adoptive father who rarely smiled. The man made him wings for all sorts of purposes, and taught him how to make fire with his bare hands and how to fight.
But his adoptive father was also a two-faced lunatic who spent all day plotting how to die in the most glorious way. He'd pick out a grave for himself, then turn around and build a three-story house just so Yun Zhi wouldn't get rained on again.
The thing Bai Cang said most often was that Yun Zhi should visit his grave after he died, so he could know that Yun Zhi was doing just fine without him.
Yun Zhi just lay on his adoptive father's lap, holding a bird's egg, and said he was only a little bird who didn't understand any of that.
Bai Cang fell silent, thinking: You make it sound like you weren't the one who pinned me down last night and insisted on climbing on top and doing it yourself.
Reading guide:
1. They're not technically adoptive father and son, since they're different species.
2. Human seme, falcon uke, older man and younger partner. The little bird is a lovesick specialist in his adoptive father.
3. If it's not for you, don't read it. If you like it, come watch the little bird hatch eggs!
Theme: If you ask someone good at skating how to succeed, they'll tell you, "Fall down, then get back up." That's success.
Bai Zang, what are you doing?! What are you doing in front of your children?! What are you teaching your children?!!! 😏
A normal parent-child relationship is not like this...
After reading this I thought it was a very cute book. It's so sweet and reassuring^_^
