Keeping a Wild Dog

A beautiful, tragic, devoted guard Alpha, younger and the pursuer x a proud, aristocratic little Omega prince, older and the pursued

When Leonie was seven, he already knew he should never have been born. Otherwise, how could his own father bear to poison him?

As he lay dying, a childish voice sounded beside his ear: "How pitiful."

Leonie had heard those words plenty of times.

"Mother, I want him!"

...Those words were new.

Leonie struggled to open his eyes and saw a sea of gold.

It was as if even a filthy soul like his could set foot in heaven.

Everyone knew that the empire's esteemed little prince had picked up a dying stray dog from the roadside. His birth was lowly; even the birds the prince kept were nobler than him.

"So what? If I can afford to keep him, then I'll keep him." Stole stood with one hand on his hip, shielding Leonie, who was already a head taller than him. "Even if he's a dog, he's my dog!"

Who would have thought that one offhand remark from Stole would keep this stray dog by his side for fourteen years?

Rumor had it that the Alpha stray dog at Stole's side was so blindly loyal that he would bite anyone the little prince pointed at, without asking why.

People called him a mad dog behind his back.

But no one knew that this mad dog would wake his master with a reverent kiss each morning, leaving tooth marks everywhere from his forehead to his toes.

"You can sleep beside me tonight."

The little prince's generous invitation.

"I am most grateful."

The stray dog bowed in submission, his every gaze filled with Stole's name.
