Husband, Your Tail Is Showing

Xiao Zhao has a handsome husband, and everyone in the surrounding villages envies her.

Xiao Zhao keeps her husband hidden away.

Her husband is a treasure, a magical river-snail gentleman. With a wave of his hand, he can make the house spotless.

Her mother used to call her lazy and worry about her. She won't have to worry anymore.

What's more, her husband has nine fluffy tails. He's a beautiful fox spirit, and he looks impossibly handsome in human form, too. Xiao Zhao loves resting her head on him while she sleeps. Holding him is so comfortable.

But it wasn't until Xiao Zhao left the village that she learned her husband was a demon, and that humans and demons couldn't be together. The Daoist priest said demons drained people's yang energy, and Xiao Zhao would die before long.

Xiao Zhao was terrified.

She packed her things and bolted.

But her husband's nine tails wrapped around her, coiling around her wrists and ankles.

Her husband murmured, "Xiao Zhao, where are you going?"

Xiao Zhao stammered, "H-humans and demons can't be together!"

Her husband chuckled. "Is that so? Who told you that? Weren't we doing just fine before?"

"And don't you like my tails an awful lot?"

His fluffy tails wound around her waist and slipped beneath her clothes, gradually enveloping her.

Xiao Zhao was torn. "But I'll die!" She insisted on leaving.

Her husband gave a quiet hum. The smile vanished from his eyes, leaving a look that was almost a smile.

"If you trust that stinking Daoist so much, let's find out whether a human really dies from being with a demon."

All nine tails curled around her at once...
