She becomes the younger sister of Leng Yuyan, the deposed crown prince. She stays by his side and cares for him, while deftly finding out where the imprisoned original heroine is being held.

But when she turns around, she sees him looking at her coldly. He walks toward her and speaks in a voice hard as iron:

In this life, she is the younger sister of a calculating young marquis.

After transmigrating, Leng Yuyao openly sabotages his plans and passes information to the original male lead. Yet her brother holds the evidence she was supposed to hand over to the male lead. He forces down the electric shocks and smiles, though his voice is laced with ice:

Leng Yuyao's heart tightens, but she puts on a flattering smile. "What are you talking about, Brother? How could I ever hurt you?"

He leans closer, his breath enveloping her completely. His tone is gentle, yet leaves no room for argument:

"Is that so? You want so badly to bring them together. Fine."

"But this time, the ones who must be together are you and me."

The main world is modern; all the side worlds are set in ancient times.

The characters in every world are derived from the core personalities of their main-world counterparts. If you can't see the connection, it's because I didn't write it clearly enough. Feel free to point it out.

The male second lead is her brother. In the final world, he has not merged with his modern-world self and is still incomplete.

The younger sister's transition from familial love to romantic love is complicated, conflicted, and painful.

The male and female leads in every world are not related by blood, and they are not related in any other way when they get together.
