Her best friend's teasing laughter came through the terminal. Yuan Liaoxing was on an unfamiliar alien planet, surrounded by danger, but only smiled faintly and replied unconcernedly, "That's not true. He said he'd hate me for the rest of his life and wanted me dead."

Six years later, Yuan Liaoxing had transformed herself and risen to become District A's hottest new tycoon. She looked down at Lu Weixi, whose emotions had spiraled out of control in her arms.
