The Republic-Era World in the Wardrobe

Luo Ye loves all kinds of antique furniture.

One day, she found a carved sandalwood wardrobe at a secondhand furniture market. After carefully restoring it, she placed it in her room.

Then, one night, while she was asleep, scratching sounds came from inside the wardrobe.

She fought down her fear and opened the door. A strange black cat leapt out.

From then on, whenever night fell, something new would appear inside the wardrobe.

Sometimes it was a cat, sometimes a bird, sometimes a tie...

Then one day,

it was a letter.

Luo Ye opened the yellowed letter. Before her eyes was a hand of beautiful, flowing script, elegant and timeless.

The contents, though...

The person on the other side was furious:

"You pervert! Stealing my other stuff is one thing, but give me back my underwear!! If I catch you, I'll shoot you dead!!"

Luo Ye: "..."

Her aunt had mistaken the shorts for an old pair and used them to mop the floor...
