Qi Yan died, then came back to life with his martial arts mobile game account. The respawn point was a little strange, though: he had become a male insect.

Just as he was preparing to coast through life, the System told him he had to help it bury anchor points. Unfortunately, he had terrible luck, and something always went wrong whenever he tried to bury one.

Thanks for asking. I'm on a battle star, just got off the plane, and the airport exploded...

Whatever. He's on the world-destruction route anyway.

Later, he met a black-haired, red-eyed colonel with a deadpan face. The colonel accidentally discovered his secret, and just as Qi Yan was thinking about how to find a chance to kill him, they were both hunted down to a garbage planet.

Well, he had no choice but to reluctantly let him live so they could survive. But how did they go from fighting each other to Qi Yan no longer wanting to kill him, and even finding him rather likable?

"Your fake smile is truly nauseating."

Qi Yan: (smiling) "Thank you, Colonel~"

"Spread your wings."

Qi Yan: "I'm not a female insect. I don't have wings."

Little by little, Infernors began to find his smile pleasing, and even allowed this pushy insect to ask more of him.

Until one afternoon, a melody he'd never heard before struck the beat of his heart. He understood that he had fallen.

"I hate this world. I hate the instinct of female insects to chase after male insects. I chose to self-destruct my mental sea as my final destination...

But for you, I am willing to bow half my head."

The black-haired female insect knelt on one knee, holding the male insect's slender hand and gently resting his forehead against it. His voice was reverent and cold as he spoke without thinking.

"My male lord..."

A pull from the hand he held drew him into a warm embrace. Soft lips brushed his ear.

"Call me Qi Yan. I am, and will only ever be, your lover."

This is a reversed world. This is a false civilization. This is a system that conceals every vile thing.

Why do female insects chase male insects? Why are male insects cowardly yet noble, while only the military female insects who fight alien beasts are left to self-destruct their mental seas?

What is the history being concealed? Why did the System descend? What is the meaning of his life?

Qi Yan pursued the truth with obsessive determination, almost madly wanting to destroy this world, until that night at Tartaros, when he saw those ruby-red eyes.

At first, Qi Yan thought Infernors was just an emotionless machine, until he turned back without hesitation, until he witnessed his madness, until his mental sea fell into chaos...

He realized that Infernors's soul burned with extraordinary heat.

Then Qi Yan heard his own heart start beating again, and the universe began to have meaning.

He reached against the light toward the military female insect known as Hell. "Want to give us a try, Nors?"
