Lydia has one wish: to save up enough money as soon as possible, retire, and return to the countryside where she grew up.
As a robot, Allen's highest directive is to protect Lydia, even if it means being destroyed.
After Lydia's parents died, Allen took on the role of her guardian and cared for her in every way until one day he contracted a virus and became intensely hostile toward Lydia's suitors. While protecting her, he accidentally injured her.
When Lydia scolds him, Allen's programming nearly overloads and crashes. He flees in a panic, until another robot tells him that he has been infected with a virus called "LOVE."
Love is possession, destruction, jealousy, and harm.
Lydia's world is full of making money, training, Adrick, a little house in the countryside, motorcycles, and so much more.
But Allen's world contains only Lydia, and his love might hurt her.
