This one probably won't be starting this year, so I'll set it aside for now.
Blurb:
On an ordinary day, Stelle, the Trailblazer of Honkai: Star Rail, makes her weekly visit to test the Simulated Universe developed by Herta and the others... But is there something wrong with this Simulated Universe??
Stelle: Herta, where the heck have you sent me?!
Starting team: Stelle, March 7th, Dan Heng (Let's be a Trailblazing team for life!)
The team may change or gain new members midway through, either by using devices or otherwise. Characters with alternate forms can switch without a device. For example, Dan Heng can take on his Imbibitor Lunae form at any time, and March 7th can use a sword. The protagonist switches Paths by changing weapons. Characters with multiple Paths can switch freely, but can't use more than one at once.
Although they're called different worlds, the Marvel and DC settings are actually in the same universe.
First world's map: Gotham
First world's enemies: Destruction Legion, Doomsday Beast (complete)
First world's main story: Tomorrow Is the Day After Yesterday (Chaos Deepens as We Go, the Vortex Ends at the Center, the Universe Finds a Moment of Peace, Shadows Never Leave, the Journey Continues, Wandering Among the Stars)
Side stories: Crown of the Mundane and the Divine, A Guide to Cosmic Home Improvement, To: Faint Star,
I don't know if this story will bring you a little joy, but if it does, I'll be very happy!
About the setting
If you haven't played Honkai: Star Rail, don't worry. There will be lead-ins and introductions whenever a character or device appears. I'll assume everyone knows the DC and Marvel characters.
I'm into all sorts of things, so I may unconsciously throw in jokes from other fandoms (groveling). I'm also an armchair historian of fiction, and the original story I'm making up has nothing to do with the plotlines of either franchise. I'm just writing this for fun, so if I offend anyone, it's all on me!
The following are things to be aware of regarding Honkai: Star Rail.
Please note! The protagonist is Stelle. Caelus is also present; the two are counterparts in parallel universes, and Caelus will occasionally bring other people from his universe in for cameos. No characters have an explicitly defined pairing, so ship whoever you like.
The team comps are based on my preferences, and the skills have been heavily modified. You may see ridiculous teams like all Preservation or all Abundance. Don't take it too seriously; as long as they can fight in the story, it's fine (what).
I'm a big BTO fan, so BTO and the Trailblazing team will appear a bit more often.
I've modified the Simulated Universe setting, mixing in Divergent Universe and Aideen Park's The Great Tatalov. DC and Marvel characters can join the team too, and once they do, they can receive blessings. The team size is capped at four. In addition, within the Simulated Universe's range of influence, people from outside the Honkai: Star Rail universe can also be noticed by Aeons and become Pathstriders. I've also defined Path resonance as the ability for someone to follow multiple Paths at once, gaining powers different from those of following any two Paths individually. My interpretation of the Paths is a personal one and doesn't represent the original work. Feel free to discuss if you disagree.
I made up the power levels, so don't scrutinize them too closely.
The Honkai: Star Rail timeline is after Penacony's story concludes and before Amphoreus begins.
Theme: May this journey lead us at last to the stars
Isn't it going to be released this year? When I saw the introduction, I really wanted to see the follow-up. You can't hold me back 😭 😭 😭
