Building Infrastructure While Pretending to Be Human

In the tenth year of the apocalypse, Qi Shu, the undefeated captain of the assault squad at the Southwestern Base, was surrounded by zombies during a high-risk mission and died horribly amid the horde.

A month later, Qi Shu came back to life, in the form of a zombie.

Along with awakening human consciousness, Qi Shu found a System in their mind.

System: The task of restoring human civilization falls to us mutants!

Qi Shu: ...

Forced to start saving the world, Qi Shu's first order of business was to build a city for mutants.

With no people, no land, and no resources, Qi Shu decided to reach into the parallel world next door.

With the players' help, Qi Shu's mutant city was soon built.

Just then, the adorable mutant players brought someone back from outside the city.

Well, if it isn't that brat from the Southern Base who's always been picking fights with me!

Heh, finally, you're in my hands!

After hearing that Qi Shu had died out in the wilderness, Qin Muxiao sat on the city wall all night. The next day, he resolutely drove his pickup out of the city to look for him.

He had to see him alive, or see him as a zombie.

Amid the migrating zombie horde, Qin Muxiao came across a group of zombies behaving strangely.

Though they were dressed like zombies, they didn't seem interested in the living. They had even "rescued" him from the jaws of other zombies.

After listening to the zombies discuss what they planned to do with him all the way there, he decided to take his leave and make a run for it.

But before he could jump out of the car, a familiar figure appeared in front of him.

Great. Looks like I died in just the right place.
