A Broken Wing Meets Spring

*Healing and redemption | Unrequited love becomes mutual | A powerful man humbles himself for love

*Brooding, broken retired athlete x gentle, courageous flower shop owner

Shen Ruoning met a strange customer.

He was soaked from the rain, leaning on a cane, his swollen knee impossible to miss.

At last, he stopped in front of an iris.

"Would you like to come inside and get out of the rain?"

Those were the first words Shen Ruoning said to him.

·

Someone once asked on a forum: [Who is the most heartbreaking "genius" in sports?]

Xie Zhao topped the list.

Born into a prominent family in Jiangnan, he defied his family's wishes to pursue badminton.

At the peak of his strength and skill, he was forced to retire because of an injury.

"The hope of badminton"

became "the fallen genius."

·

Shen Ruoning saw Xie Zhao again during a violent downpour.

He stumbled over to her, badly limping, and fell hard in front of her.

·

Shen Ruoning had always thought

Xie Zhao would never recognize her in this lifetime.

Until one day, a withered iris fell out of his diary.

Someone had carefully protected the fragile, brittle flower.

It was from three years ago.

The first flower she had ever given him.

·

If the spring breeze has compassion for flowers, could it grant him another youth?
