Current progress: First round of trials (70+ chapters)
Coming soon: a Nezha spin-off with a cyberpunk setting, "When Nezha Transmigrates into a Cultivation Rule-Horror Story." See the blurb below. If you like it, please add it to your favorites, friends!
Blurb:
After the calamity, the Three Realms fell into chaos. To restore order, a new position was created: Marshal of the Central Altar, charged with vanquishing demons and commanding the Five Camps of Divine Generals.
As everyone knows, one must undergo tribulations before becoming an immortal.
Nezha was only six or seven years old when he died. Now, his lotus body has been reforged in Golden Light Cave for over a thousand years, leaving him all the more pure and sincere, devoted to goodness and fiercely opposed to evil.
He knows nothing of the twists and turns of officialdom. He has lost his memories from before his death and has had little experience in the world. And, as luck would have it, everyone knows he used to be a vanguard general.
He has a fiery temper, but formidable fighting skills.
He needs guidance and companions, so another figure comes down the mountain to help him: the Great Sage Equal to Heaven.
*
The Central Plains city has suffered years of drought. When Nezha arrives, he tears down the imperial notice calling for rain and an end to the plague without a second thought.
"Asking the Old Dragon King of the Eastern Sea to send rain is no big deal. I'll go right now!"
Sun Wukong: ?
The moment he finishes speaking, all that remains in the sky is a streak left by Nezha's Wind-and-Fire Wheels.
By the time Sun Wukong catches up, they have reached the Dragon Palace in the Eastern Sea.
The fierce battle between the two sides is halted by Sun Wukong's shout: "Wait!"
The Old Dragon King is wrapped from head to toe in the Red Armillary Sash, unable to move.
Then Nezha gives him a perfectly proper fist-and-palm salute. "I will settle my personal grudge with you another time. I came here only to ask for rain. If you refuse..."
"Then the Red Armillary Sash will obey only me."
...What a fine example of courtesy before force.
*
Nezha finds a pit of bones in the mountains, where five hundred thousand soldiers who once protected the Central Plains city lie buried.
An unscrupulous ghost official abused his authority to steal their merits and lifespans, leaving them adrift between worlds for over a thousand years, forgotten by everyone.
When Nezha rushes to the Underworld to settle accounts, he deals with the ghost official in front of everyone, then watches as King Yama quells every challenge in the Underworld on his behalf.
Behind him stand the Great Sage Equal to Heaven and the True Lord Erlang, who carries a list of the offices of all Three Realms. Neither says a word. Their silent message to King Yama is clear: Handle it.
Since he is already there, Nezha also takes care of the other ghost officials who stir up trouble instead of doing their jobs.
As the Judge reads out the sentences, Nezha controls the Red Armillary Sash and tosses officials of every rank into the various levels of Hell.
"This one goes to the third level, that one to the fifth..."
"Only eight levels for this one? No, that's too lenient. Throw him two levels deeper."
Not a single person dares to object.
The Three Realms reach a unanimous conclusion: The Marshal of the Central Altar has powerful connections and a bad temper. He is a notorious god of slaughter across the Four Seas and Eight Wastelands.
Tips:
The reading barrier is a little high. If you only skim a few lines at a time, you may not understand it.
The main plot follows the Marshal of the Central Altar through his tribulations. Three rebellious troublemakers travel together, but later on the protagonist gets the spotlight all to himself. The story focuses mainly on him, and the friendship follows a supportive, uplifting route.
Finally, if my writing makes you fall in love with Nezha, that would truly be an honor for me.

Below is the blurb for my next cyberpunk Nezha spin-off, "When Nezha Transmigrates into a Cultivation Rule-Horror Story."
Blurb:
Chips are implanted in human brains, and data replaces memories.
The ancient civilization is on the verge of disappearing, and faith in the myths has utterly collapsed.
When Nezha first transmigrates into this world, he sees strange rules and notices a head pieced together from metal plates staring him up and down.
Then it shrieks in a sharp synthesized voice: "High-dimensional life-form detected. Initiating anomalous entity eradication protocol!"
Without a word, Nezha pulls the power cable from the back of its metal-plated head.
The world falls silent again.
The rules say:
You are a student majoring in artifact crafting. Use your magical artifacts responsibly. Lending them to others is forbidden.
You have no master or friends. Do not trust anyone.
You can tamper with chip data, but use this ability with caution. Humanity will not submit to outsiders.
All your disciples will immediately ascend and become gods.
Here, everyone's vital signs are sustained by numerical values.
The terminally ill inhabitants of the lower levels cannot glimpse the revelry on the top floors. Money drives the ability users who control everyone's life and death through electronic terminals.
Those whose minds cannot reach a certain level are fit only to be ants.
Nezha has only one thing to do in this world.
He makes everyone controlled by chips observe the precepts and implants new ideas in them:
Protecting one's home and country is a mission everyone is born with.
If technology controls everything, then as a god, it is his duty to declare to everyone that when science cannot uncover the mysteries of the highest realm, the gods will always be the ultimate rulers.
Tips:
Still a trio of Nezha, Erlang, and Wukong. This one should be more of a power fantasy.
I think that compared to the divine tribulation story, this one can flip the table at any moment and carry the kind of presence a god should have.
Cyberpunk, plot-driven, friendship-focused. Please don't ship them right in my face.
Theme: Breaking free from fate.
This is a book review. I thought about it for a few days and wanted to express my feelings after reading this article. There are a lot of personal thoughts and irrelevant nonsense in it. I hope the author and teacher will bear with me~ First of all, to be honest, I have been waiting for this long novel by Nezha for a long, long time. Who knew that I had not scanned the article for several months, and suddenly I read this author's long novel without CP, which gave me a sense of redemption!! Who knows? I'm waiting for this article not to talk about love, not to engage in CP, not to stereotype, not to be brainless against destiny, not to have brainless conspiracy theories, not to cut the tragic Chentangguan storyline, not to avoid controversial plots that are difficult to write, not to skip the difficult-to-write political achievements of the prince, and combine it with the original mythology setting to reasonably fill in Nezha's original mythological experience. How long have we been waiting for a full-length drama from a drama that can't be done anymore?!! I was really touched, as if I traveled through time and space to accompany them on a successful adventure that belonged to them, and witnessed with my own eyes such a real new legend spreading to the world. Because there are so many outstanding things, I won't go into detail about the author's rigorous world view and plot line, mature writing style and sophisticated writing style, as well as his positive and exciting ideological guidance. Next, I will talk about the major points that moved me most about this article: 1. In the traditional literary story of Nezha, cutting the flesh and removing the bones can be said to be a very important plot that is very shocking, tragic, shocking, and controversial. It also highly shapes the anchor point of the character's background. Many second-generation creators will choose to play it lightly, bypassing or downplaying this plot, so as to avoid the plot being too heavy and serious. However, this article does not avoid and weaken this tragic plot, nor does it make fun of Nezha and Li Jing's tower. It does not use entertainment to downplay the seriousness of the conflict between father and son. It does not even speed up Nezha's heart in a separate chapter at Chentangguan. Rather, it is very patient, combined with existing myths and legends, and uses the entire article to lay the groundwork and tell us how Nezha really came out of this experience step by step. It is not about letting go or even forgiving, but facing up to the pain and anger, and receiving abundant love and support from all sides. He has gained a broader experience and mature mind, gained more indestructible strength and status, and truly got out of this past that was once extremely difficult for him. The Nezha in this article, combined with the settings of all parties, uses a character speculation that is more in line with the strength and status of the mythical Nezha, and more reasonably shapes Nezha's mental journey. He already has a master who dotes on him and carves him with care, a mother who loves him, teachers and seniors who support him and think highly of him, and close friends who live and die together. He is already complete enough and never lacks love and trust, so there is no need to long for the father's love that does not exist. What's also very surprising is that in this article, the author gives his thoughts on the root causes of the conflict between father and son, who have been controversial for thousands of years. In the past, Li Jing couldn't stand Nezha and worried about being implicated by Nezha, all because Li Jing lacked strength and lacked the courage to fight. But now that Nezha is firmly standing in a higher position than him, all problems have been solved. Li Jing no longer has to worry about the possible targets and responsibilities he may face as Nezha's boss. The immortal fate that Nezha brought to Li Jing repaid his bloodline kindness. The Linglong Tower as a shackle also broke under the calculation of Master Taiyi. Nezha naturally and truly got out of this awkward past. 2. I am also very surprised by the character design in this article. It is not limited to simple pure evil or pure good. It does not just stigmatize a certain force, but the design is very real. There are opportunists, there are greedy ones, there are lackeys, and there are also lackeys who are difficult to do. There are strong and reliable seniors, there are selfish and insensitive non-stick pots, there are good officials who work hard, there are loyal ministers who live up to their original intentions, there are geniuses who have changed their minds, and there is a group of protagonists who are consistent and insist on practicing the justice in their hearts. It is said that the survival of the fittest depends on natural selection. This article recognizes the struggle for survival, but does not recognize the rationality of this banditry. Nezha in this story insists on inner justice and integrity, pities the struggles of all sentient beings in suffering, and works step by step to reduce suffering and solve problems for sentient beings in the three realms. The sentence in the article: "After such a long time, you may all think that I came down from the mountain to slay demons and to be named Marshal of Zhongtan. No. I came down from the mountain to reestablish the laws of survival in the three realms. I have not forgotten it." It really blew me away!!! Our marshal has such a great ambition and destiny!! 3. In this article, the author may have also thought about Nezha's weapon theory. In some second creations, Nezha is set as a weapon that is not allowed to have free will, and is suppressed and controlled by a higher class. But the author in this article obviously has more reasonable thinking. Nezha had such a doting master who cared for him, so how could he insist on making him a cold weapon? In the story, the author points out the inherent qualities of Nezha in the traditional setting, which comes from the guide's sufficient love and backing. Whether it is the expectations of the leader or Nezha's own high-level and important divine responsibilities, he will not stop being an ignorant and manipulated knife. All pre-arrangements are not only to polish his sharp combat power, but also to let him learn to skillfully use and coordinate the energy of all aspects, so as to truly do what he feels is right in his position. There is a plot arrangement by the author in this article that particularly moved me. In the story, Nezha has to shoulder the important task of being the marshal of Zhongtan to guard the order of the three realms at a young age, just like he once resisted power and made trouble in the East China Sea at a young age, and assisted Jiang Ziya to become the destined forerunner. The author interprets the story like this: "You have to take on responsibilities that are beyond your age." "Innocence must remain in posterity." At the end of the story, Nezha reestablished the order of the three realms and all living beings were stable. The story came to an end. Only then did Yang Jian bring the flying chess that Nezha wanted so much and play with Sun Wukong. This made me think, just like the Wahaha and Wangzai milk that people pay tribute to the prince today, the prince prematurely assumed responsibilities and expectations that were not for that age, but this does not mean that all those who have expectations for him do not cherish him, and really only treat him as a cold tool to kill his innocence. However, as the author said: "Innocence must remain in posterity." 4. I must admire the touching and positive and healthy friendship in the story. Nezha will try his best to help Yang Jian again and again. Yang Jian will feel guilty because he was once in jail and failed to help Nezha, but Nezha will never blame Yang Jian for this. Sun Wukong is even more congenial with Nezha and always supports and respects Nezha's will, even if Nezha faces the risk of death for it. Sun Wukong and Yang Jian will do their best to help Nezha do what he wants to do, and they will also risk their lives to save Nezha who is in trouble. Nezha does the same to them. To paraphrase the original words of the article: "Friends should be your guarantee for the future and the help that will stand by your side no matter what. " 5. What touches me the most, and is also the point where I write the most nonsense, is that through this article, I seem to see the author's thinking on the theory of destiny in Fengshen Yanyi? The theory of destiny is often criticized by readers in Fengshenyan. In many online conspiracy theories nowadays, it has become a negative word for manipulation and calculation. It is a hot-blooded index that requires overturning the table and subverting everything to make a fuss. But in this article, I saw the author's more gentle and rational thinking. First of all, we need to understand that the settings of Nezha in The Romance of the Gods and Journey to the West are adapted from myths and legends, and myths and legends are stories that people like to identify with and then pass on orally. Therefore, the destiny extended from myths and stories always stands in the position of popular creation, and in the end it must benefit the people. Because the stories created by the people will not violate the people's position. So we can understand that Nezha's destiny was actually given by the people. The prayers in the hearts of the people are exactly Nezha's destiny. In the article "God's Tribulation", I saw the author's in-depth thinking and answers about destiny. This may be the author's interpretation of destiny theory that is more in line with modern narratives after combining the particularity of the theme of adapting myths. In the story of this article, Nezha's initial fate was also customized by a higher power class, such as the post of marshal of Zhongtan. Everything that followed also showed traces of prior arrangements by the big bosses of all parties and gradual and steady progress, and Nezha was still pushed forward. But in a story full of unexpected thrills and ups and downs, the author tells us that the "destiny" formulated by the superiors is not absolute. They can calculate and deduce, but the final result depends on the fact that only Nezha, a unique existence, can take on this important "destiny" related to the three worlds. What enables Nezha to take on this "destiny" is Nezha's loyalty to his true heart to protect the common people. It is Nezha who upholds justice and hoe the strong and the weak, and exchanges his sincerity for the trust he gets. Raising support is Nezha's convincing achievement made step by step by throwing his life and blood. It is the public's hope for Nezha who upholds righteousness and justice both inside and outside the book. This article has done that, combining the compassionate divinity of Prince Nezha, the righteous god, who is the patron saint of thousands of souls, and the powerful strength and status of Marshal Zhongtan. It combines the spirit of resistance against power in the literary work Journey to the West and the Gods. It also combines the image of our good friend, the little hero Nezha, in today's public impression. After reading this article, as an ordinary Nezha fan, I was really, really moved. Thank you to the author for bringing such a new legendary story about Nezha, which made me love the prince even more. !! I really like it! Finally, I have only one regret about this article. It may be because the main plot is very tight and compact, and the amount of information about Nezha's mother in the original mythological story is very small. There is no opportunity to reveal her name in this article, and there is a lack of information and storyline to better shape an independent personality. At the same time, the setting arrangement of the mother goddess is a bit labeled because the mother's positioning is too clear. Although it is understandable, compared with other characters in the article created by the author and teacher, the image of Mrs. Yin is a bit flat. I always feel that the author and teacher can portray her better. I wonder if she will explain it in depth in the follow-up article of the Chentangguan special file? Looking forward to it! Finally, call the teacher again!! This article is really great! Very delicious, thanks for the treat!!! Looking forward to the new chapter!!
I don't know how to describe Li Jing. Say he is useless. He can lead the people in Chentangguan. I have a prejudice against Nezha. Say he is useful. The people under him don't believe in him and instead believe in some wild god. This will only add chaos.
Yay! It's fun to fight! I feel that Nezha's combat power has improved a lot. With his own debuff and the opponent's buff, he can beat four at once. Before, the East was only 1v1. No, who made the rules? How could it be considered a narrow victory?
If you think about it, it's really like a plant. If you pick a flower, the leaves will grow again if they fall off.
It's finally over and we're awesome! Let the rest come over!
It was really a virtual battlefield. Seeing that Li Jing and the Heavenly Soldiers were alive, I thought I had guessed wrong.
Wait a minute, did you suddenly remember that you had gone to the north? Why did the assessment start?
The tower... Is broken? Will it still be repaired?
Wow, now is the time for cyber cultivation/
No wonder I have to give you weapons. I haven't gone back yet and the fight is starting now.
