The Idle Stand-In Just Wants to Lie Flat

Zhou Yi is a domineering CEO's stand-in lover. Since he's in a paid relationship, he not only indulges the CEO in everything, but also comes whenever he's called and puts up with being ordered around.

But Zhou Yi is perfectly willing. It's not because he's deeply in love with the CEO, but because he... needs money.

As a happy-go-lucky slacker, he plans to squeeze a car and a house out of the CEO, save enough for his retirement, then make a glorious getaway.

Mini-scene: Scum Top Version

When the CEO's one true love returns from abroad, he shows no mercy to his substitute Zhou Yi and orders him to leave. "I'll give you another five hundred thousand. Don't let me see you again."

Zhou Yi: "Yes, Your Majesty. Your servant takes his leave, and this time, for good."

CEO: "..."

Mini-scene: Official Partner Version

Zhou Yi: "Mr. Liang, are you going to keep me too?"

Liang Xianzhang nods.

Zhou Yi: "And how long are you planning to keep me? Let's get this straight first: I'm difficult to look after, and I'm expensive."

Liang Xianzhang: "For a lifetime..."

Zhou Yi: "..."

"And one more thing..." Liang Xianzhang takes his hand and slowly slides a ring set with a huge diamond onto his finger. "Rather than this improper relationship that can't give me a proper title, I'd prefer something legitimate and healthy. Xiao Yi, what do you think that relationship is?"

Zhou Yi stares at the enormous diamond ring on his hand, the kind that must cost at least ten million, and sucks in a sharp breath. He clasps Liang Xianzhang's hand in return. "I know! Marriage. Let's get married right now!"

President Liang smiles with satisfaction.
