Xu Ji transmigrates into a cultivation game he played as a teenager.
The good news: His main account is the Demon Lord Xu Ruqing.
The bad news: His main account has already reached the ending where both righteous and demonic factions treat him like a stray dog and kill him.
No matter, Xu Ji thinks optimistically. At worst, he can reclaim his main account's corpse and return to life
What do you mean, someone dug up his grave and whipped his corpse?
Xu Ji: ...Who does something that nasty?
To stay alive, Xu Ji decides to cozy up to someone powerful.
Find his former max-level subordinates: all dead.
Find his old kindred spirits and friends: gone to heaven.
With nowhere else to turn, he remembers the child he once raised, Chi Gu, the most pure and virtuous of saints, with boundless merit.
...Wait?
Xu Ji slowly types out a question mark
What do you mean the child I raised with my own hands is the nasty bastard who dug up my grave and whipped my corpse?
In his youth, Chi Gu studied under the Demon Lord Xu Ruqing.
Xu Ruqing raised and protected him, so of course Chi Gu had to take care of his remains.
After that, Chi Gu disappeared for several years.
When the world saw him again, he was the revered God of Time, worshipped by all. Seeming neither righteous nor demonic, he wiped out every last one of the factions that had once joined the siege against Xu Ruqing.
The radiant saint of the past had become the demon who would destroy the world.
With his revenge finally complete, he at last dared to open that final letter.
It contained just eight characters:
Stupid game, you ruined my youth!
Inside the coffin was only a giant shape made of stones
Chi Gu: ...
Chi Gu: You're finished :)
Chuunibyo, sweet-natured, the whole cultivation world's white moonlight, Ji x gloomy, insecure, aloof beauty (now fallen), Gu
P.S.
1. One-on-one, primarily from the bottom's perspective.
2. Xu Ji's main account, Xu Ruqing, does not become a woman.
3. The premise comes from a post on WritingPrompts. Permission has been obtained. This is self-indulgent wish fulfillment, with a beautiful, tragic, powerful, and corrupted character. If that's not your thing, don't read.
