There are three male leads: Lu Ya, Yuanshi, and Kong Xuan, in that order. Each relationship is one-on-one for a time, and the bonus chapters bring them all together. The blurb is told from Hongjun’s perspective, while the main story is from the heroine’s. After being jointly suppressed by a Long Aotian and his rebellious disciple, Hongjun escapes as a wisp of divine consciousness. He disguises himself as a System and inhabits the sea of consciousness of an easy-to-manipulate mortal named Ling Xing. Ling Xing knows nothing about Honghuang, so she follows his guidance, finding resources, improving her aptitude, and becoming Tongtian’s disciple. She’s reasonably obedient, but her kindness is old-fashioned. She loves getting entangled in karmic causes and effects, though that often benefits her. He thought he could keep passing himself off as a System, but unexpectedly, Ling Xing began to suspect him. “Who are you, really?” He wanted to tease her. “I’m Hongjun.” Ling Xing didn’t believe him. “Why not say you’re Pangu while you’re at it?” Even after he revealed the truth, she still obeyed him in everything, so Hongjun saw no need to keep putting her in her place. He observed her day and night and was surprised to discover just how lovable she was. Kong Xuan, Jinchi Dapeng, the demon prince Lu Ya, and even Yuanshi all developed feelings for her. Hongjun was quite pleased. He watched with relish as she flirted and made love with those men, as if he were watching a play. The deeper her bonds with them grew, the better his chances of succeeding in his revenge. But just as he thought everything would proceed smoothly according to his wishes, Ling Xing gave him a huge “surprise”… P.S. 1. Their fates in the bonus chapters will depend on how the story develops. 3. The first twenty or so chapters set things up and focus on the main plot; the later chapters focus on romance. 4. The romance is a slow burn, with no out-of-nowhere love. All three relationships are carefully developed. 5. Lu Ya’s arc is first love and a flutter of the heart, Yuanshi’s is coercive push and pull, and Kong Xuan’s is friendship turning into something more. Theme: Sincerity for sincerity
