This Friend Is a Lost Cause

Fang Yuan had an Alpha friend who was top-tier in every way: a good family background, handsome looks, and excellent grades.

As an utterly ordinary Beta, Fang Yuan was often proud of his Alpha friend.

Until one day, while they were out together, his Alpha friend suddenly said, "That Omega who just walked by smells amazing."

Fang Yuan: ?

Fang Yuan discovered that his world was a tragic ABO romance novel. His Alpha friend was the main top, while Fang Yuan was just a bit character whose name appeared fewer than three times in the entire book.

Before long, his Alpha friend would have an unexpected pheromone mishap and spend a night with that Omega. Then, cold and scummy, he would get the Omega pregnant, cause a miscarriage, and force him into a deranged romance.

Fang Yuan: ? I can't be friends with this guy anymore.

Cut ties. Absolutely cut ties!

Fang Yuan stopped answering calls and texts, and turned down every invitation from his friend, determined to stay away from this lawless menace.

Alphas really were too scary. From now on, he would rule out all Alphas when making friends!

His friend came looking for him, bewildered and innocent, asking why Fang Yuan was ignoring him. Fang Yuan wouldn't budge, because he'd already seen through his friend's true nature!

Until an accident happened.

He and his Alpha friend ended up in bed together. Fang Yuan was devastated, but at least he was a Beta, so pheromones couldn't affect him and he couldn't be marked.

Fang Yuan wanted to pretend the mistake had never happened.

But his Alpha friend saw it differently. Again and again, he bit the back of Fang Yuan's neck, panting as he said, "I know you've had a crush on me. You were jealous, so you tried to cut ties. I'll never look at anyone else again. I only like you."

Fang Yuan: ... That's not what happened, you jerk! Get off me!

Both are virgins, one-on-one, sweet romance.
