[Disabled Writer] [World-Weary Delinquent Girl] [Healing]
Fang Qiuyi has two older sisters above her and a younger brother below.
In the bedroom lies her bedridden grandmother, while her parents argue every few days.
Lying on a floor mattress, Fang Qiuyi stares at the peeling ceiling,
searching every night for a reason to exist.
After searching and searching, she realizes
that perhaps her purpose in life is to be the one who has it worst.
But before long, even that pitiful purpose is snatched away from her.
The person who takes it is mute from birth, lost both parents in a car accident,
has perfectly healthy legs but gets around in a wheelchair,
and is none other than her boss, Li Xinglan.
Fang Qiuyi cannot begin to understand how one person's life can be so full of twists and turns.
Even less can she understand how someone whose life is so full of twists and turns can stay so optimistic and positive.
Theme: Love means helping someone become their best self.
