Revision progress update: Reworking the plot.
I'm sorry to announce that the novel's launch has been postponed. See my Weibo for the apology letter. It will begin after Marking My Frail, Widowed Sister-in-Law by Mistake is complete. There will be no further date changes. Thank you for understanding, and I hope to see you then.
# Oblivious, wooden junior sister × cool, gentle beauty of a senior sister
# First loves for both, happy ending, age gap with a touch of raising her
*
Ling Xiang transmigrates into a book and is about to die from the start, when a clear flash of sword light saves her.
Her savior is cool and beautiful, dressed in white robes and as aloof as snow, yet she gently covers Ling Xiang's eyes.
“Don't be afraid.”
Later, Ling Xiang changes her name to Liao Xiang and embarks on the path of cultivation.
As soon as she passes the trial, she recognizes her savior and rushes over to hug her leg.
She never expects her savior to be Zhai Yan, the heroine, the future number one of the cultivation world and the favored child of Heaven destined to ascend.
She's decided to cling to this powerful ally!
*
Her master spends most of the year in seclusion, so Liao Xiang's training depends entirely on her senior sister's guidance.
Only after spending a long time together does Liao Xiang realize that the beautiful senior sister is merely cold on the outside and warm on the inside.
She patiently teaches her swordsmanship, guiding her hand in hand, and often stays up late to help her practice, leaving them no choice but to sleep side by side.
Liao Xiang thinks her senior sister might feel something special for her, too.
So she follows the original plot to find treasures for her senior sister, takes a blade for her, and drives away her unwanted admirers, only to accidentally discover her secret.
The cool, aloof senior sister has a long-lost love she can't forget.
*
No matter how hard she tries, Liao Xiang can't claim a place in her senior sister's heart.
So she gives up everything and stops trying to force things.
Just then, a small Sumeru realm that can travel through time and space opens. Determined to go home, she leaves behind a letter and all her belongings, then says goodbye to her senior sister.
Zhai Yan, usually as cold as ice and snow, suddenly smiles. Her fingertips dig into her palm until it bleeds, but she seems not to notice.
“All right. If we're parting, how can we do so without a drink?”
Liao Xiang drinks the farewell wine her senior sister gives her. When she wakes, her senior sister is protecting her, sword stained with blood, and the demonic cultivator who tried to ambush them has been killed.
As Liao Xiang stares in shock, the sword tip presses against her throat. Strange demonic markings crawl across Zhai Yan's beautiful, cold face as she smiles and asks:
“Little junior sister, where do you think you're running?”
*
Zhai Yan becomes the new Demon Venerable.
In the demon palace, soft sobs drift from beneath the crimson bed curtains.
Liao Xiang's chin is lifted by slender, pale fingers. Her eyes are wet with tears, her body marked with bruises.
The chains around her wrists clatter as she pushes Zhai Yan away, her voice hoarse.
“Psycho!”
Zhai Yan doesn't care about Liao Xiang's resistance. She wipes the blood from her lips and smiles.
“That's right. I've been mad ever since I fell in love with my junior sister.”

Blurb:
Pei Ling has barely transmigrated into a book when she's ambushed and gets involved with her senior sister, exposing the senior sister's extraordinary cauldron physique.
Feeling guilty, little Pei works incredibly hard to keep her gentle, frail senior sister from suffering the adult plot of the original novel.
Unfortunately, there are too many villains, and little Pei keeps getting injured.
Meanwhile, her senior sister's clothes are half undone, her eyes glistening.
“If junior sister loses, there'll be no one left to protect me. Then... I'll be counting on you, junior sister.”
Theme: Cherish every encounter.
