Blazing Across the Plains

Playboy ne'er-do-well rich kid vs. the most beautiful star of the opera stage

Fang Qingzong was a lucky second-generation rich kid, born into a good family, blessed with good looks, and with an outstanding older brother to boot.

His only "job" was to wander into various nightclubs and taverns whenever the mood struck, playing the spoiled young master.

Everyone in Pingliang City was polite to his face, but behind his back they mocked him, saying that without his rich father and big brother, someone would have taught him a lesson long ago.

Who could have guessed that his older brother would meet with an accident while away from home, and that his father would also be hurt while rushing to save him?

All the burdens of the family fell on Fang Qingzong's shoulders at once. But he was a spoiled rich kid. How could he possibly manage his father's subordinates?

Worse still, one family crisis followed another, and Fang Qingzong had no choice but to shoulder the burden and take responsibility.

After enduring one hardship after another, just as he was utterly exhausted, the actor who had suddenly disappeared returned.

Xie Feng was an opera performer whom Fang Qingzong's father had suddenly brought home. Fang Qingzong had thrown several fits over it, trying to drive him out.

But he never expected that this seemingly delicate performer, who looked as if he needed someone else to survive, was actually a sly, scheming fox. Fang Qingzong fell into his traps several times.

This man was far too good at acting!

The two fought their battles at home, each trying to seize the upper hand.

Just as they were having the time of their lives competing, Xie Feng suddenly vanished.

Now that Fang Qingzong was in trouble, this man suddenly came back to save him.

Fang Qingzong was furious. "Is this some kind of inn? You come and go whenever you please?"

Xie Feng's eyes brimmed with amusement, but he pretended to be innocent and leaned against him. "My lord, I've been thinking about you every day."

Fang Qingzong's hair stood on end. Why was he acting again?
