Quick version: The story of a Chinese young master taking on the Korean entertainment industry and becoming a top-tier star in the West.
Career-focused version: After watching a TVXQ performance, Li Musheng decides to become a K-pop idol. He wants to join SM, but by a twist of fate ends up at YG and debuts as the sixth member of BigBang. (A certain person will appear, but won't be named and may only get two or three lines. I won't write much about former BigBang members who have already left.) While reaching the top in Korea with his bandmates, he finds a great friend and falls in love with him. Starting in 2011, he makes it in America on his own and wins all four major US entertainment awards within a few years, truly becoming a top-tier star on the world stage.
(He won't leave the group in 2011. He just won't renew his solo contract, but will renew his group contract.)
The two of them, on their own:
The free wind pauses for the lake, stirring ripples across its surface. Drawn to the wind, the lake feels the embrace of freedom through him.
His sensitivity is touched by passion. The sun chases away his cold, and the wind is willing to linger for him. His pride is charmed by acceptance, and so everything comes to you. I stop in my tracks, willing to walk beside you.
Main character: A little sun, but slightly devious and a little arrogant, with a mild need for control. He's not perfect.
The love interest is the second eldest in SHINee. Overall, they dote on each other, but I want to write more of the bottom pampering the top. The second eldest deserves a good person by his side, so he won't be so lonely.
Tips:
1. Since the timeline is so far in the past, I'll only be able to give a general account of some second-generation events, so please go easy on me.
2. The story mainly focuses on second- and third-generation groups, including but not limited to BigBang, SHINee, EXO, 2NE1, Super Junior, and others. (A big mix of SM and YG.) There'll also be some groups with members who hold green cards, such as GOT7, Seventeen, Twice, (G)I-DLE, and aespa. (I want to write about a senior Chinese idol with a green card who makes things a little easier for other green-card holders in Korea, but the main focus is still the protagonist and the second eldest. Other groups will appear, but not much.)
3. It will generally follow the real timeline. This is a slice-of-life story, and time will pass fairly slowly, with the career and romance plots advancing side by side.
4. The main focus is idol life and dating the second eldest. (There are so few stories about second-generation idols that I had to write one myself.)
5. My tastes are all over the place and pretty wild, so there'll be a little bit of everything.
6. I will never abandon this story, but updates will be slow, probably monthly. I absolutely, positively will not abandon it!
Theme: Mutual healing and the struggle to succeed
Happy birthday Jonghyun 🌈 🎆 [Cake] [Cake] [Green Heart]
"April 27, early morning." Catch a big bug for the author~ It must be June
Do we only update ten days a month? [Loading][Holding thighs] If you ask for food, just feed it to the birds, okay? Chi Chi Chi Chi Chi🙏
Ahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh. It's so so so so good🙏🤩
I watched it while skipping, so when I saw the male protagonist choose to cooperate with Eric at the end, I was full of questions. There were also few scenes in Big Bang, and most of the previous chapters were written around the two of them.
It's beautiful 💜 I found a treasure [Spread flowers] [Spread flowers] [Spread flowers]
Seeing this, I feel a little sad. The author writes very well, looking forward to your updates
No, does this count as a breakup? 😭
After watching The Sword, I came back to watch this episode again. I finally felt better today.
Dadada is finally back, happy spreading 🥳
