So he began fulfilling his duties as the "Saint": purifying curses and redeeming the world.
If he hadn't met that blonde boy, Amashiro might have let original sin consume him, carrying the sins of the world on his shoulders until he died alone.
But before that could happen, he met him.
The blond kid who desperately warned a stranger and still chose to fight side by side against a Grade 2 Cursed Spirit.
"Would you be my friend?"
"...I'm Kento Nanami. Pleased to meet you."
"Amashiro Kagemitsu."
From then on, the Saint had someone to care about for himself, and became human once more.
