[Main story complete, please bookmark~]
Jiang Xing has lost his memory, but his sophisticated mechanical prosthetics and formidable fighting skills earn him a job at the Night Organization, where room and board are included. He even becomes the boss's "trump card."
It's just that this job is pretty strange.
Every day, he diligently carries out missions and searches for clues about Zero Yu, the most powerful mechanoid. Yet people keep looking at him strangely and saying cryptic things, as if trying to hint at something.
He wants to grab them by the shoulders and shake them senseless: Get a good look! I'm just a lackey of the Night Organization!
-
Xie Xiao transmigrated into a book and, for some inexplicable reason, married Jiang Xing, who seemed like a cannon-fodder character.
He resolved to stay away from the main plot, but was forced into a complicated entanglement with Zero Yu, the book's final Boss.
Zero Yu was crazed and obsessive, with countless murders to his name. The book portrayed him as utterly evil.
Jiang Xing can't possibly be Zero Yu.
He can't... right?

-----Coming soon: Can the Beautiful, Strong, and Tragic Be Redeemed by a Tentacle Monster?-----
Jing Mian, a hapless guy who entered an infinite-flow world because he wanted to die, one-sidedly saw his teammates as family.
He diligently served as their captain and finally paid a great price to lead them through every world.
But his teammates turned on him, blaming him for not doing everything perfectly and calling him a monster who had killed the vice-captain.
"Vice-Captain Liang is dead! How could you bring yourself to do it?!!!"
"You don't deserve to be our captain!"
"Why was it him who died instead of you?!"
Jing Mian had no way to defend himself. The last thing tying him to the world was gone. Heartbroken, he silently lay down: Bye-bye, disappointing world!
-
Jing Mian's original world was just as dangerous as the infinite-flow world, crawling with monsters.
He had brought back all the skills he'd learned in the infinite-flow world, but spent every day holed up in his rental, trying to figure out how to die.
The monsters all admired strength. At some point, they began treating him as their "king."
Of course they had to please their king!
They all knew their king wanted to die, so Jing Mian's windowsill was always filled with fresh flowers, and all sorts of childish but fun toys piled up outside his door. On his birthday, the monsters blew themselves up to make fireworks.
So clumsy.
Jing Mian turned away and said no, not noticing his flushed cheeks or the smile he couldn't hold back.
-
Jing Mian knew that a powerful tentacle monster had suddenly appeared among the creatures. It always brought the most beautiful lilies of the valley and knew all his likes and dislikes.
But it had actually sneaked into his home, not only stopped him from dying, but even dared to climb into his bed at night!
Enough was enough!
Jing Mian couldn't speak. One night, he forced himself to stay awake through the monster's hypnotic spell and bit down hard on the tentacle pushing into his mouth. Fury blazed in his reddened, tear-filled eyes.
The tentacle paused for a moment, then wrapped around him even tighter.
"Love... Captain... love..."
Jing Mian froze.
Could it be... Vice-Captain Liang?
-
Later, another group of people barged into Jing Mian's world: his former teammates.
They said they had come to find him and wanted to apologize.
"Captain, come to our safe world! It's too dangerous here!"
"Captain, we brought your favorite lilies of the valley! Didn't you say we were family?"
They held out a small bunch of lilies of the valley and smiled cautiously.
But Jing Mian was no longer that poor sap who got misty-eyed just because someone showed him a little concern. He leaned against the doorframe, a tentacle monster coiled around his arm and a pile of monsters mewling and rubbing against his feet. White lilies of the valley crowded his windowsill, drooping like lanterns.
He smiled casually. "I don't need you anymore."
He had all the family and lilies of the valley he needed.
*A beautiful, strong, tragic captain shou who wants to die every day but can't x an obsessive nonhuman gong who seems like a gentle, warm-hearted man but is actually a crazy, scheming green tea
*1v1, both pure, mutual pining and redemption
*His former teammates will be put through the wringer!
Theme: Evil deeds will be punished
Leave a paw and watch it tomorrow night with inspiration 💪
"Jiang Xing suddenly heard a roaring mechanical movement coming from the top of the room" which really caught the author's eye~ running sound
I read the copy and had a terrible experience. I thought the main text was about the game between the characters in a dark and cold world, so I read two chapters. Is this a joke? The writing is a bit childish, so I don't know what emotions to use when reading this story. And the purpose of predictability is not grand, but it's hard to say how small the lower limit is. That's it.
🙏 🙏 It was great to see before overtime.
The male protagonist in the original book, Wei Jing, must not be a local. How can locals be so arrogant and fearless of death?
There is no real traitor yet, now I accept the olive branch, and when the time comes, I will be blocked from both sides if I lose.
Why is this eighteen so stupid?
If you don't have a bitter attitude toward your own experience, it would still be quite satisfying. It's right in my strike zone.
