After I Left, He Fell Apart

Xi Wen had begged his way into a relationship with Qin Ruyun.

He pursued her for ten whole years, from the age of sixteen to twenty-six. He even went so far as to hurt himself, and at last she agreed to be with him.

For the two years they were passionately in love, Xi Wen treasured Qin Ruyun, protecting her so carefully that he didn't even want other people looking at her for too long.

When he was twenty-eight, Xi Wen planned a proposal that caused a sensation throughout the city.

Beneath a sky full of stars, Qin Ruyun's name seemed to overlap with the bright moon hanging high above.

Xi Wen gazed at her, his eyes brimming with love and devotion, and said,

"A Yun, you are my moon, my most beautiful dream."

"Marry me."

His heart full of hope, he waited for her to say those three words: I do.

But Qin Ruyun merely tugged at the corners of her mouth and slowly said two things.

"Every dream has to end someday. Yours, and mine."

"Xi Wen, no matter how beautiful moonlight is, it's cold. It can't compare to the sun's dazzling warmth. The person you should marry is your sun."

A third person had already entered her relationship with Xi Wen.

The girl Xi Wen called his sun.
