After failing for the 250th time in a row, Dr. Pei finally realizes that maybe she's really not cut out for medicine.
How can a doctor treat a patient for so long without curing them? Her medical skills must be terrible!
Even though she has followed the textbooks to the letter, treating her patients with meticulous care...
Even though the patients receiving treatment always end up flushed, with racing hearts and sweating profusely...
Even though their treatment has to be extended after all that time...
There are so many patients that she's running out of beds in her clinic!
But none of that matters now.
Dr. Pei has decided to call it quits, turn over a new leaf, and start life over!
Yes, she means starting over from the "head" in the literal sense.
If this head is broken, she'll just get a new one!
So Dr. Pei replaces every single part of her body, including her head.
Well, that's the freedom of being a mechanical android.
With her heart set on a fresh start, Dr. Pei leaves behind a houseful of rich old regulars who pretend to be ill and refuse to leave, all clamoring for care. She dusts herself off and makes a run for it!
