When a Cat Demon Meets Her Demon-Hunting Boss [Extra]

The story before the events of The Cat Demon Meets His Exorcist Boss.

Five hundred years ago.

Shen Xichi was a young cat demon who had just cultivated enough to take human form. He loved punishing evil and promoting good.

When he was ten, he met a very righteous exorcist.

His name was Ye Zhouqi.

“Hey! Are you really an exorcist? Why did you save me?”

Ye Zhouqi turned to leave, saying only, “Just this once.”

Then Shen Xichi followed him for five years. The two roamed the martial world, upholding justice.

At fifteen, Shen Xichi told his parents he liked the exorcist Ye Zhouqi.

The Demon King flew into a rage and confined him to his room.

Shen Xichi refused to eat or drink and eventually fainted from hunger. His parents felt sorry for him and had no choice but to let him out.

At eighteen, Shen Xichi confessed to Ye Zhouqi: “I... I like you!”

Ye Zhouqi had been secretly in love with him for three years, but didn't dare say so. He feared this forbidden love would have no happy ending, and that Shen Xichi would get hurt.

At nineteen, Shen Xichi cheerfully climbed into Ye Zhouqi's bed and said, “The evil little cat is here! Sir, aren't you afraid I'll take advantage of you?”

Ye Zhouqi: “...” Too adorable.

Not long after, the demon realm was destroyed, and Shen Xichi fell into a deep sleep.

When he woke, five hundred years had passed. To his surprise, the first person he met was Ye Zhouqi.

He said, “Xiao Li... I've missed you so much.”

Fate and the bonds between them brought them together once again.
