Synopsis

Ikebukuro always seems remarkably peaceful, no matter the time. Even with the Dollars, the Yellow Scarves, the Headless Rider, and the Blue Squares' power lurking in the shadows, things remain calm on the surface. While Shiki of the Awakusu-kai was meeting a friend for drinks, he ran into an injured Orihara Izaya whose wounds had no clear cause. Meanwhile, Akabayashi, who was supposed to meet Shiki for drinks, inexplicably crossed paths with Ryuugamine Mikado. At the same time, new unrest somehow erupted in Ikebukuro. A Russian troupe that had come to perform attacked Vorona, who had been living peacefully with Tanaka, Shizuo, and the others. The attack also swept up Yuu and Ruri Hijiribe, who were filming on location in the park, as well as the onlooking Kururi and Mairu... In a hurry, Vorona took her younger brother and Ruri Hijiribe to Shinra for an examination. Lucia Sushi was also attacked, but Celty and Anri, who happened to be nearby, joined forces and drove the attackers off. ...What exactly is happening in Ikebukuro? When the many forces in Ikebukuro, seemingly unable to coexist, face an invasion by outsiders, how will they change?
