Synopsis

Five years later, Rin Okumura, now a Paladin, returns to the Vatican headquarters and True Cross Academy in Japan. His return seems to serve a special purpose. The cowardly Vatican places all the blame on Rin and his guardian, Mephisto. Two years after Satan was defeated, his demonic weapons began spreading through the material world by possessing people and other means. Rin has returned to deal with the fallout, joining forces with Shura and Angel, whom he became close to during his training. Unexpectedly, Shura and Angel are both attacked soon afterward, leaving the Japanese branch of True Cross short on fighting forces... [Aside from the characters and their relationships, which have been slightly altered, this work has no connection to the original plot and is entirely original.]
