This novel updates whenever inspiration strikes. Its worldbuilding is ambitious, and the author's writing skills aren't quite up to handling it.
After living two lives, the biologist Zhong Yuanjun is reincarnated once more, only to discover that he has differentiated into an omega, the lowest rank. He has an utterly unremarkable face and a height that's only slightly competitive, plus a supposedly bodiless but ever-present AI son named Saoirse. Even the era has changed, becoming a period of dramatic transition from the modern world to an interstellar one, in an ABO world with six genders.
Wait a minute. Has the son I've had in every life finally gone from a paper character to a cyber AI? Hold on, I'm not only researching my AI son, I'm also secretly researching suppressants for different genders?
And so I became a great scientist, the father of artificial intelligence, and the father of pheromone suppressants. I used to be a professional Go player, but after differentiating into an omega, I lost all my glory, and then AI beat me at Go. What am I supposed to do now?
That's not all. My lover from both of my previous lives, Xia Youkao, has arrived too. Facing discrimination against omegas in the workplace and stiff competition from AI, he's unemployed, with brawny limbs, a questionable IQ, and no survival skills. He is destined to marry, settle down, and give birth to eight babies in one pregnancy. With no other choice, he sets up a table beneath a camera and begins a career that looks like helpless, pathetic, nonstop eating, but is actually a determined march toward becoming history's first mecha combat pilot, eating for the camera and working out behind the scenes. He even shouts,
"Can AI eat as much as I can? Let me see it try!"
Years later, after I put in a staggering amount of work, the artificial systems that originally worked in the arts began to thrive in high-risk industries, providing strong protection for human lives. I even developed powerful suppressants for different genders, and the six ABO genders became indistinguishable.
But as I hold the fruits and vegetables that my supposedly AI son, in truth the first omega mecha combat pilot, Xia Youkao, brought back from space, I give Akao's shoulder a sympathetic pat.
"Akao, stop eating. These fruits and vegetables are for our wedding. At last, it's springtime for our omega-omega love."
Reading Guide:
1. The previous-life stories are part of a series: How to Get Cult Leader Jie to Willingly Call Me Dad and I Married a Transcendent as Verlaine's Father. All three can be read on their own. They carry over some earlier worldbuilding, but that won't affect your enjoyment of this story.
2. A dual-perspective ensemble story. Zhong Yuan and Xia Youkao are both protagonists, and the viewpoint shifts with the plot.
3. The whole story is silly and comedic. The relevant medical and AI information comes from online sources. Please point out any errors.
Thesis: Gender should only distinguish bathrooms, not determine who can love whom.
Yeah 😆, the two of them ran away together. I was worried about what would happen if one of them left and the other one ran away.
The "bate area" is a big thorn in the side of the author~ This is also a bit problematic
"What's more, the area they are in is..." This is a big bug for the author~ Starting from this paragraph, the letters of beta are a bit wrong, beta
